The outside of the book was a peeling brown leather. It had no words on it, just a picture. It was a very detailed picture of the Red Queen and the Cheshire Cat fighting with weapons. The Red Queen had a blue flamingo and the Cheshire Cat had a pink sword. When I opened the book there were just more pictures. The first 7 pages were filled with pictures about the Red Queen's rule. The next 2 pages showed pictures of a great battle between the Red Queen and the Cheshire Cat. The last 4 pages showed pictures of how the Cheshire Cat changed Wonderland. He made it a better, safer place. Suddenly I heard a door open. I shoved the book under the cushion and laid on top of it.
"Hello?" the King said. He pulled back the curtain. I sat up.
"Yes?" I asked.
"Come sit, dear." He said. "What is your name?" I sat on the couch, across from the King.
"My name is Wren. Wren Miller." I said.
"Where are you from?" he asked.
"I'm from California." I said.
"Cali…what?" he asked. I chuckled.
"California." I said.
"Oh. I don't know where that is. I thought you were from the flower garden. You look like a daisy." he said.
"I am not a flower." I said.
"Well, you sure look like one." he said. "You act like one too."
"I do not!" I yelled.
"Do not yell at me!" The King said. "GUARDS!"
The guards came into the room. They were big skeletons in pink and purple striped armor. They grabbed me and threw me outside of the castle. I sat on the ground for a while, until I realized I was sinking.
