Chapter 11

-4 Months Later-

-Baylee's POV-

"Coming up on E! News...pictures from the JODY date."

I flipped the channel quickly. I couldn't stand seeing Cody with another girl. Whoever Jenna is... He sure did move on quickly. Well, I haven't talked to him since the day we broke up. Other than that, life has been good. I got the lead role in a ballet which is tomorrow. Paul and Alli are flying out today so they can see it! I'm so excited. They should be here any minute... Almost on cue, there was knock on my room door. I opened it and was attacked by the two of them. After I finally shoved them off of me, I decided to take them around town, since I had the day off. We were walking around Time square looking for somewhere good to eat. Alli and I were walking together and Paul was right behind us.

"BAYLEE!" Paul yelled.

"Yes?" I said while turning around.

"I just realized we missed your birthday...you're 16 now!" I just smiled and nodded. I hadn't really celebrated my birthday. I got a card from my parents and Emma and Audrey took me out to breakfast, but that was it. We found a little Chinese place and ate there. We went back out to Time square. Alli and I shopped, while dragging Paul to every store. After hours and hours of shopping, we decided to head home. Paul went to his hotel room and Alli came back to my room with me. Alli and I stayed up for a little while catching up. Alli started to say something about Jenna, but then she grabbed the remote and turned on the TV to distract me. There he was again...with Jenna.

-Cody's POV-

"Now Cody Simpson's new single...SO LISTEN!" I groaned and reached to turn off the radio, but I was stopped by Jenna.

"Now, don't babe. I love listening to your songs." If only she knew that the song was actually about someone else. I parked in the only free spot, and then got out to open the door for Jenna. Just then a heard a shutter noise. Great. Paparazzi. They've been following me around every since I released So Listen. I shouldn't have done it. My break was going fine, but my manager insisted I release a song before people "forget about me." Oh well. Just ignore them. I reached for Jenna's hand and helped her out of the car. We shopped around the mall for a few hours and then went back to my house.

"You wanna watch a movie, babe?" I asked.

"Sure!" She replied, while sitting down on the couch. I put the movie in and then sat next to her. She immediately cuddled up to me and started kissing me. I felt something different when I kissed Jenna. It wasn't the same feeling I got when I kissed Baylee...I can't tell if that's a good thing or a bad thing. She pulled away and then fell asleep, while watching the movie. My phone started buzzing so I slipped away from Jenna carefully, trying not to wake her up. I grabbed my phone off the counter and saw it was Alli calling me.

"Hey Alli." I said.

"Hey Codes!" She said excitedly. I could hear a voice giggling in the background.

"How's New York?" I could hear more giggling in the background...that's when I realized who it was. I could recognize that laugh anywhere...Baylee.

"Good! I have something to do tonight and a photo shoot tomorrow." She said. What did she have to do tonight?

"You have a photoshoot tomorrow?" I heard, what I assumed was, Baylee say. Alli simply replied yes. Then I heard a guy say something. I was so confused. Alli didn't tell me she was going to visit Baylee. Why do I even care?! Remember she left you. She broke up with you. Just forget about her. You have Jenna now.

-Baylee's POV-

"Morning Sleepyhead!" I yelled while slapping Alli on the head. She shot up and started screaming gibberish. I got up and put on my leotard. Alli got up and got ready, also. We were about to leave when Alli remembered she needed to call home. She got out her phone and started dialing in numbers. Finally someone answered. There was someone at the door,so I went and opened it. Paul came bursting through the door, scaring the crap out of Audrey. I started cracking up laughing, and Alli kept shushing me. She continued talking on the phone and then said she had a photo shoot tomorrow. Paul and I both asked about that. Then Alli hung up. I had practice all day today. Alli had a meeting and a photo shoot. Paul was going to visit one of his friends that lived here. We all left to go eat breakfast and then went our separate ways.
