-Baylee's POV-
That night I laid in bed, just staring at the ceiling in shock. Did I really just see Cody again? Did he really say he was sorry, too? Did I really just feel sparks when he hugged me? The memories of him and I dating came back to me. I smiled at how wonderful they were. Why did I ever break up with him? Oh well it's not like I have a chance with him now. He probably has some beautiful girlfriend back in LA. He probably doesn't even remember what we had. I shook those thoughts from my head and finally fell asleep.
The next morning, I woke up to my phone singing Better Together by Jack Johnson. I looked down at the caller id, but it was an unknown number.
"Hello...?" I said groggily.
"Hey, Angel. Sorry I didn't mean to wake you." I heard that beautiful Australian voice say.
"Oh it's fine. Um not that I mind or anything but how did you get my number?" I asked.
"I got it from Alli." he said. Emma walked into my room. That's when I realized I totally disappeared on her yesterday. I was gone all day long. She sat down on my bed next to me.
"Hey, Cody...I have to go. I'll text you later. Bye." I chirped into the phone, hanging up before I could hear his reply.
"Emma, I'm so sorry I ditched you yesterday." I said. She looked over at me sympathetically.
"Don't be. I know what happened...your aunt called me. I figured you wanted to be alone. It's cool. Soooo....who were you talking to?"
"Okay thanks for understanding...and it was no one." I said, realizing that I had never told her about dating Cody.
"Well it didn't sound like no one...get dressed we are sight seeing today!" She said as she walked out the door, closing it behind her. I got dressed in a pair of tan capris and a plaid button up. I grabbed my phone and my aviators and headed out to the living room. Emma was already dressed and was standing at the door, waiting for me. We walked out of the door and left the hotel. We went to a little cafe and ate breakfast. Then, we decided to just walk around. I looked all around just taking it all in. I can't believe that I'm actually in Paris. We finally approached the Eiffel Tower. I was in awe, but I was quickly brought back to reality by Emma pulling me along.
"Let's go up!" She exclaimed. I looked over at her and nodded my head excitedly. We both ran towards it. We payed for our tickets and then went up. The view was astonishing. I couldn't believe my eyes. Once again Emma interrupted my thoughts.
"Hey, Bay?"
"Yeah?"
"Who is that guy over there?" she questioned while gesturing to her right.
"What guy are you talking about?" I said in a confused tone.
"That guy over there!" She pointed at him really quickly. I finally saw who she was talking about. There was that blond haired, blue eyed Australian. He looked over at me and smiled. He made his way towards me. I met him halfway.
"What are you doing here?" We both asked at the same time and laughed.
"You never texted me." He said sadly. I pulled out my phone and then told him to check his messages. He pulled his phone out and smiled at the message I sent him. He pulled me in for a hug.
"Same old Bay." He said, while still hugging me. I just smiled on his chest. I could hear his heart beat faster. I pulled away and looked up at him.
"Meet me here tonight, at 10:30?" He said. I nodded my head in agreement. I flashed him a smile and then walked back to Emma.
Emma looked at me and then to Cody walking away and then back at me.
