Yoongi's POV

"no...no...." she mumbled in her sleep. What was happening? I lean over her to see her flinching a bit.

"No. No. Please..." She says clearer. I worried about her and got ready to wake her up, a tear rolled down her face and when I went to wake her up she started pushing me.

"NO! PLEASE, NO NO! NOOO!" She shouts and pushed harder on me. I sit up and start to shake her by her shoulders as she cried. Her eyes opened and she noticed she had been pushing me. She just started crying harder. It hurt seeing my friend all broken and crying, she never deserved any of this.

"Y-yoongi. Im sorry." She sobs into my chest as I grip her in my arms tightly. I look down at her wrist which was cut multiple times, they weren't there before.

"It's okay. You're okay, you're safe with me." I hug her close to me. I never thought I'd be doing this, comforting someone I just met because of the pain someone else has caused. Being trusted so much my someone was so important to me, even though it almost felt like she was trying not to trust me. I don't see why.

I felt like I knew her, somehow. I knew all of the things I learned about her today in the back of my mind. She looked very familiar, her name is very familiar. We treated each other as if we had known each other forever. She acted like she had known me forever but we only met today...what is going on? This is all confusing. All I knew is, I would never leave her side, no matter what. I'm too involved now.

Leonardo DiCaprio once said: "If you jump, I jump."

I will stick with that for Kayla, I care too much too soon. And like I said... I'm too involved now.

She wiped her tears with the back of her hand and looks at the clock. It was 7:00. She throws the blanket off of her body and lays her head in her hands, she was stressed. I got up and sat by her.

Nothing but silence filled the room. I could sense her pain, her want for all of this to be erased. I want to find who caused this and beat their ass, I hope they're is still here. They will get what they deserve.

"Yoongi..." She breaks the silence. My eyes jolt over to hers.

"Yes, Kayla?"

"Thank you. Thank you for being there for me even though I have only known you for a day." She smiles at me weakly. She gets up and limps over to where I had placed her, now dry, clothes. "But I need to leave."

"Why? You're safe here." I walk over to her, trying to figure out why she is leaving so she is in danger again.

"Yes, but I can't stay here." And with that she left. Why did I let that happen!? I tried calling her but she sends me to voicemail, I text her and she reads it but won't answer. Maybe she needs space? I decided I would finally leave her a voicemail.

"Kayla, I don't know why you left me. I want you to be safe, if you need anything at all let me know. Please keep yourself safe."

It has been a week, I haven't seen or heard from her. I tried texting her to make sure she is okay but nothing. I have grown extremely worried about her. I couldn't think of what to do, I was very worried by the end of the week. I haven't seen her in at all or heard from her, she wasn't anywhere she may have been. She said she was going to start to go to the cafe in Seoul more often, I looked there and asked but they said she didn't come. She wasn't there all week and they all tried to contact her but she never answered. I had tried everything, but I could only think of one person who might know where she is.

I pulled out my phone and called Sophie.

Sophie's POV

Kayla has been staying at my apartment for the past two days. She said she was at Yoongi's but she thought if she stayed any longer she would end up trusting him and that the situation was starting to play out like her and Justin did. He came to her rescue, she felt safe around him and she was expecting him to hurt her sometime soon.

Yoongi isn't like that though, I tried telling her but she didn't believe me. What happened? She usually trusts me, she never did tell me exactly why she came here. The only thing that she said and I could see was she was all cut up. She was sadder than usual, too.

She was asleep on my couch and I crept into my kitchen to make myself some coffee, I got a call from a worried Yoongi, I quietly answer.

"Hello?"

"Sophie! Kayla is missing! She hasnt talked to me all week and she is ignoring me! She might be in danger!"

"Yoongi, Kayla is safe. She is with me. She has been with me all week. What happened? Why is she in danger?"

"I have no idea, she never told me. But she called me and I brought her to my house, she had a whole bunch of glass stuck in her."

I stare off at Kayla. I now knew what happened to her. Justin came and he hurt her again, she was with Yoongi to get away from him and then she though he would be like Justin and she came here. I felt a sadness sweep through me as I hung up on Yoongi. I felt bad for doing it but I drove to his house. We talked about it.

I told him about why she disappeared.

"Yoongi, she is hurt. All of her trust is gone. She lost her best friend and her boyfriend less than a year ago and her father is a dick and always has been. She doesn't have any trust left she wants to hand out."

He looked at the ground, deeply saddened. I saw a tear fall from his face and he looked me in the eyes.

I knew something he didn't...This was why he was so sad.

He used to be so close to Kayla, she doesn't realize it's him. Yoongi told me he met a girl in Utah named Kayla and he fell in love with her but then he came to Korea. Kayla told me when she lived in Utah she met a guy and he moved away once she started to fall for him, she didn't know what he looked like or his name because she only knows what people told her. She got in an accident and forgot everything.

They both have a bond and they used to that neither of them realized. Maybe this was why they are so close and yet they are also "new" to each other.

I had to tell Yoongi, they are both too blind to notice.

"Yoongi, that Kayla chick you were telling me about.... You're closer to her then you think." His eyes lit up as he had a soft smile form on his face.

"So it was her... I'm so stupid, how didn't I realize it." He bites his lip, "she is so hurt, I am so hurt. She doesn't trust me and she never will."

"Well you need to build the trust, she has a little bit of trust issues...Give her time." I pat his back and leave him to think. This may be a sad situation but I may have helped turn it around for the both of them. I've never seen Yoongi so in love in my life, he started smiling in a sad way.He is known for going after what he wants and doing what is right.

He would help Kayla, whether she tries to shut him out or not, now that he knows the truth about his past.
