The Dragon Stone

Chapter 12

                            Kalin ran out and was shocked at what she was watching. Kaston laid in front of her feet, dead and Dorian was about to be killed. Dorian looked at her with fearful eyes.

"Protect Pyria please, Pyria I..."was all he could say before he was killed. Kalin looked over were Pyria stood. She made the most horrible cry and screamed "Dorian!" The man responsible of Dorian's death is King Ned. His men and he turned around run away. Pyria ran towards Dorian and started to cry saying over and over. "Please don't go." She told him. Kalin walked over to Kaston and dropped to her knees and for the first time in a long time she cried. Kalin awoke with a frighten look on her face until she relived it was a dream. Kalin sighed and walked out of her tent to only find Dorian tending to the fire.

"Good morning Dorian." Kalin said. He looked up at her. She remember the fear in his eyes in the dream. She heard Dorian said "Kalin, Kalin are you there?" he whispered yelled at her.

"Oh did you say something?" Kalin asked. He sighed and turned the forest.

"Shall we?" he whisper.

"Yes let's go." Kalin told him. They walked through the forest in silence.

"Have you ever had a nightmare were it was too real to be a dream?" Kalin asked. He looked her in the eye and replied.

"Yes many times, when I was younger and sometimes have them but I think they are memories not dreams some yes but not all of them." Dorian answered.

"Yes but how do you tell the different?" Kalin inquired.

"Well, when I have a memory, I feel the emotion to my very soul and I remember them when I was young." Dorian told her.

"I think I had a memory but I don't know." Kalin said in a tired voice.

"We should head back." Dorian said heading towards camp. Kalin ran up to him and said.

"Dorian, do you have strong feelings towards Pyria?" Kalin asked. He looked down and thought for a moment and said.

"If I tell you, you have to tell me your feelings for Kaston." Dorian said smirking. Kalin look stunned.

"Why, would I have feelings for Kaston?" Kalin asked.

"I know how you two look at each other." Dorian said still smirking.

"Shut up and stop smirking!" Kalin yelled at him playfully. When they arrived at the camp everyone was ready to go.

"Let's go." Dorian yelled to everyone.
