Hey, guys!! My name is Sherly Ann, I'm 17 years old. This is my first time writing on Watt pad and I'm very happy to share this story with you! This story has been possible thanks to my partners, Angel M. Pastrana and Alanis G. Cruz, so credits to them. It's not finished, it has mistakes but I promise to work on them and make this story the best. I hope you like it!💙
If you like, I suggest you to read chapter 5 before reading this one. Just think of it as if it was the very first chapter and when done, come back to chapter 1.

Vincent's POV
"Vincent! Wait for me!!"
She said between hard breaths. I turned my head to look at her from the corner of my eye and she had stopped running so that her hands were on her knees. I laughed at her in a teasingly way, and from a few feet away, I shouted:
"What?!" In a high pitched voice. "Giving up already?!" I raised my eyebrows and gave her a doubtful smirk.
"Nah Nah Nah." I shook my hand in disapproval, shifting my weight from my left foot to the right.
Every morning I go out to run around the block to maintain my physical state and one day Jane told me she wanted to start running too. Today is her first day but she didn't want to go to early (she is not a morning person) so we left around 3 pm to get some things and her new workout outfit. Afterward, we came back home to leave the car and left for the run.
"Gosh, Vincent." She said my name in a slight tone of annoyance.
"You run too fast." She looked at me ( don't know if her face expressed exhaustion or if she was truly mad) and then at the ground, she was already giving up.
"Come on! We are just getting warmed up. U can do this Jane, come on. Let's gooooo!!" Trying to cheer her up, I started jumping from one foot to another.
"In a minute, please." She stood straight, her hands on her waist, letting her head fall back while taking a very super deep breath.
"Alright alright." Definitely, my attempts on cheering her up failed. I need to do something that works....
Very slowly, I started to walk towards her. My gaze focused on her eyes. Those stunning green cat eyes of her, and in the sun? God... A smirk escaped my lips, I slowly licked them, shifting my view down her lips. My thumb caressed my chin, and I looked back at her eyes. And she knew.
With a playful smirk on her face, she began to walk back almost without wanting to, I could see it; chuckled and told me to stop but it was too late. When she saw me approaching, getting closer and closer to her, she purposely bit her lower lip, winked and began to run in my opposite direction. Easily, I grabbed her by the waist taking a half turn but we stumbled and fell, her body on top of mine. I started tickling her, turned us around, now I was on top. She couldn't stop laughing and kept trying to stop me with her hands but I was faster, until... she found an opportunity and kissed me slowly, pulled back a little and smiled. Almost in a whisper, she told me...
"I got u."
She laughed nervously while I remained silent, observing, memorizing every inch of her face, so perfect, as if it wasn't real, so soft, so bright, so beautiful that it made me smile. Those eyes, that look that can make time stop and make you wish it never ends... never dies. It was such a beautiful day, but she was so much more...
A string of hair was in the middle of my view so I carefully placed it behind her ear. She awkwardly placed a hand on my chest to support herself from getting any closer and her touch was so strange.... it felt so different, like if she could go through me, like a ghost. I placed a hand on her back, helping her sit and be more comfortable and the other in the back of her neck. I got really close, so close that I could feel her breath against mine, touching with our nose. With that same hand, I moved her head to the side making some space for me and whispered in a very husky tone in her ear," you smell like pancakes" and bit her ear.
"Omg. HAHAHA!" She genuinely laughed, and I just couldn't help but tag along.
Moments like this were so special for me, not only for this right know but because it brought to me so many memories of our childhood.
We were neighbors for some years and our parents knew each other from business so we spent a lot of time together. We hated each other at first, well, she did, I always found her interesting. I teased her a lot and she would scream to me how stupid I was and how mad I always made her feel but that only made me fall for her without her noticing, not even me. She was one of the prettiest girls from my school but she never looked at me, at least not how I wanted to. She even bullied me a little, and I was very surprised when I saw she was going to be my new neighbor. After some time, and a lot of effort from my part, she started to accept me and so we got along, and finally became best friends. We would play in my family's mansion's backyard while our parents worked about business with "no children allowed". We played hide and seek, husband and wife (p.s. it was very awkward at first but I ended up loving the game).
Sometimes, we sat on the backyard tree to sing or just talk about each others day. We could normally talk about pretty much anything, for example, how my friends at school pulled a prank on me and got suspended, also when I got into a fight with a bully named Brent. Also, the times my mom and I would fight about stupid things or a bad grade on school, my feelings or beliefs about a certain situation and most importantly, my illness, which was not exactly diagnosed at the time and much many other stuff but there was one thing I never got the heart to tell, my feelings about her.
I remember she always looked straight at me and never interrupted me, instead she waited until the end of my story and became the only one who never pushed me aside, instead she stood by me, she gave me advice and with just a smile my day could go from black to pure white; she understood me like no one else did. I wanted so bad to let her know how I felt, and so one day I decided to wait no more and dressed in a suit, grabbed some roses from my garden and told her the big news. At the time we were only kids so we didn't completely understand love, but she accepted and now, I have been dating Jane Moore for 6 years, the love of my life, and it's crazy how after so many years she still sends goosebumps all over my skin.
"I'm so tired, and it's getting cold, we should go inside. It has been a really long a day."
"Vincent? Vincent, are you listening to me?"
She repeated, pulling me away from my thoughts.
"Yes, sorry baby. I just got distracted with that smile."
I said, biting a smile of my own. She got off me and laid beside me, her torso directed to me and her hand supporting her head. I did the same and started to play with her hair with my free hand. After a moment, I shyly asked her:
"I'm sorry, what did you say?" making a not so innocent face.
She growled and punched my shoulder, of course, failing to make me move a muscle. But I exaggerated it and started to hold my shoulder in pain.
"Ahhhhh it hurts so bad! I didn't know you had that strength in you!! Oh my goodness! Ouchhhh"
"Ugh, I hate u so much! Stop making fun of me !!!"
She punched me again and I couldn't help but laugh at her cuteness. She looked like a little girl when mad. That's when I tease her the most.
It was getting late and really cold outside so we went back to the house, took our turns to bath and watched a movie. A storm randomly started and thank God we were already in the house, it was raining cats and dogs out there. We laid in bed after drinking a cup of really hot chocolate, talked a little and fell asleep. Or, she did.
