•3rd Person POV•
"If only you'd have listened to me about the dangers of upsetting the timeline" Rip said.
"What are you talking about" Sara asked.
"While you were busy saving Norway--" Rip got cut off by Ray.
"From nuclear annihilation" he said.
"You're welcome, Norway" Snart continued.
"Savage sent one of his cronies back to the site of the arms sale. Anyone care to guess what he found" Rip asked angrily.
"Whoops" Ray said looking at his suit.
I am unversed in modern American colloquialisms. Is 'whoops' slang for 'oh'?
"Yes, Dr Palmer seems to have thrown a spanner in the works for the entire timeline" Rip almost yelled.
"Come again" Snart snapped.
"Armed with Dr Palmer's future technology, Savage's engineers develop a weapon far more destructive than anything here in 1975. This is Central City in 2016" Rip said while Gideon projected an image of what he claims to be our homes burning in flames.
"At least it was. I'm not sure what the neo-fascists who took control of it are calling it these days" Rip concluded sadly.
"There has to be a way to fix this somehow" Demi said.
"Fortunately, Gideon is just showing us a forecast of the future you've all created. Time is like cement. It takes time to become permanent" Rip answers.
"In this case, until Savage's team have worked out the mystery of your future technology and molded it to their own ends" Stein says.
"And when they do, what you see here is no longer just a forecast. This... this is history."

"So thanks to Raymond leaving a piece of his suit in the past, the rest of us don't have a future to go back to" Snart clarifies.
"Unless we do something to change this course of events, the future will become immutable" Rip says.
"Exactly how much time do we have left" Demi asks.
"Until Savage's weapons team reverse-engineer Mr Palmers tech."
"We're talking 1970s terroists with 21st-century weapons. Since we don't know where Savage went, we don't need to find him" Carter said.
"We just need to find the other piece of my suit. Which shrinks because it's made of an alloy which mimics intra-molecular compression of Dwarf Star, thus emitting Alpha Particles. So we just need to be able to track them" Ray interrupts.

At this point Demi had stopped listening. She was just in the corner, like always, zoning out.
She started paying attention again when Rip walked into his office to grab a dagger that was apparently from the night of Carter and Kendra's first death.
"According to Aldus's notes, the dagger needs to be wielded in conjunction with and incantation inscribed on it" he said handing the knife Kendra.
"What does it say? I don't know" Carter said concentrating.
"I can't read the language" Kendra answers.
"It's okay. I'll help u remember" Carter tells Kendra staring at her for an awkwardly prolonged time.
"Splendid" Rip says trying to break the tension which Demi smiles lightly at.
"Now as for the dagger" he continues.
"You need someone to steal it. Okay fine. Whatever. I'll do it" Snart interrupts while snatching the newspaper out of Rip's hand.
"Article says it was purchased by some rich Russian douche bag named Sasha Mahnovaki."
"I'll go with you" Ray pipes up.
"I already got a partner. Who i trust even less than you. Plus Demi's coming with us."
Everyone looked over to her, so Demi just nodded and walked out from the corner over to Snart.
"Look, your more than welcome to go with them. Just don't take along any of your future tech" Rip told Ray.
Demi, Snart, and Mick all rolled their eyes and walked out of the room as Rip started talking to the Professor.

• Demi's POV •
We were seated outside a mansion somewhere in 1975. I didn't think I would need my bow and arrows for this so I kept them stashed in my quiver.
"I'm seeing motion detectors on the ground floor. Hardware on the doors look standard issue" Snart said while observing the mansion we were about to break into.
"I can't see any smoke alarms" Mick chimed in.
"I saw at least three armed guards on the perimeter" I stated.
"What the hell are you--" Snart yelled as Ray got up and moved toward a metal box.
"I recognize the security system. My parents had the same one" he explained.
"I'll have the access code cracked and security disabled before you could say 'breaking and entering.' There" Ray finished.
"I wouldn't be so sure of that" Snart said with an annoyed look plastered over his features.
"Why's that" Ray asked curiously.
"Because you just tapped a dummy box, which means those guards are gonna be here quicker than you can say 'rookie mistake'" I said rolling my eyes.
Before anyone could continue two armed guards were standing behind us with guns locked and loaded.

Once we got inside, Mick found the room with the dagger and other prized possessions and led us toward it.
I decided to put my hood down cause I figured if Ray didn't have his suit on then I didn't really need to have my hood up. You can never be too sure though, so I kept my mask on just in case.
He went to go find the safe once we were all in the same room and of course, Snart and Ray started bickering.
Snart smashed all the glass cases containing the possessions.
"What are you doing? Let's grab the dagger and let's go" Ray said yelling at him.
"Raymond, you don't break into a candy store and steal one gumball."
I just stood in the corner of the room and watched as these events transpired.
He started to grab all the items.
"What do you think your doing? This is what we came here for" Ray yelled pointing to the dagger.
"No. It's what you came here for" Snart stated cooly.
Ray forcefully gripped Snart's arm. I walked over to them to make sure they didn't end up killing each other.
"Take your hand off of me" Snart said menacingly.
"I'm not gonna let you jeopardize another mission."
"You two need to calm down" I said getting annoyed.
"Stay out of this Queen" they both yelled in unison.
"I'm done asking politely" Snart started angrily.
"And I'm gonna listen to a guy who's spent half of his life in prison" Ray fired back.
An alarm started blaring and a huge metal cage fell down on us.
"Great. Now we're all going to prison" I said fed up with everything that was happening.

"What the hell happened" Mick yelled running back into the room.
"It was this idiots fault" Snart answered.
"I told you we shouldn't have brought him."
Before the arguing could continue I spoke up. "Agreed, but we got bigger problems at the moment."
"Your right. I need you to find the fuse box and trigger a system default" Snart told Mick.
After Mick left the room, Snart and Ray finally stopped fighting.
As a kid, Oliver was always the center of attention in the Queen household. I never really got a word in so I learned to just zone out whenever I got bored or was forgotten.
Ollie always made sure I wasn't forgotten though, even if he was the main focus.
Snart gently knocked on each of the wooden pedestals holding the possessions until he found the right one. He opened it and started fidgeting with the wires.
At this point I felt that my time would be best spent looking around the room, slightly zoning out, while searching for any security cameras or ways to get out of this cage.
I didn't start listening until I heard someone being forcefully pulled down the hall near the room we were locked in. The grunts sounded like they were coming from Mick.
The alarms stopped flashing and Snart paused work on the pedestal.
"Looks like Rory found the fuse box" Ray said.
"We got a slight problem" We heard Mick say from around the corner.
"The owner just came home. You're not gonna believe who it is."
Mick emerged from around the corner along with Vandal Savage who had a gun pointed at his head.
"Stop struggling. I've had 4,000 years of training in every hold and pressure point known. But you already know that don't you? That I'm immortal" Savage asked menacingly.
"I'm gonna kill you anyway. That's a promise" Snart said smirking evilly.
"Oh. And what have I done to you? Perhaps you have targeted me for something I've yet to do. You traveled here from some point in the future" he wondered.
"Catches on fast, this guy" Ray chimed in.
"Visitors from another time."
He shoved Mick on the ground and continued to point the gun at his head.
"You won't be so happy when the rest of the team shows up and knocks that smug grin off your face" I sneered at him.
"Why wait? A communications device of some sort, I imagine" he asked while picking up Mick's comm unit and throwing it to me.
"Please. Contact your friends. I'm looking forward to seeing at least two of them again" he said smiling devilishly.
