A/N this is gonna be a pretty short chapter cause i need to finish this episode so i'll try to make the next one pretty long :D
• 3rd Person POV •
Rip was seated in his office trying to figure out Savage's next attack throughout history. He was worried that Snart and his team haven't checked in yet, most importantly Demi.
He knew she was strong and capable but he also knew how reckless she could be at times.
Rip heard voices coming from outside his office so he walked out to see the Professor talking to someone who looked just like him, only younger.
He figured it was his younger self.
As the man was escorted out by Jax, Rip spoke up.
"I'm not even going to ask."
"Captain Hunter, Were getting an incoming communique. Ms Queen on Mr Rory's comm unit."
"On speaker Gideon."
"I'll make this quick" Demi spoke, her voice flooding the bridge.
"The owner of the mansion we burgled is Vandal Savage. He's really interested in meeting the rest of our team, especially our feathered friends" she finished.
"They have the dagger" the professor added.
"And Savage has them" Sara stated.
"It doesn't matter" Kendra said walking into the room with Carter.
"Just get me close enough and I'll do what needs to be done" Carter finished.
• Demi's POV •
"Your friends our cowards" Savage said angrily.
"They'll be here" Snart shot back.
"They're taking to long. They need an incentive."
A blast of fire shoots toward Savage. We all turn around to see Firestorm on top of the staircase.
"Ah. The burning man" Savage speaks almost happily.
"I don't just burn, pal. I blast things too."
Firestorm shoots a nuclear blast at Savage and he gets thrown back.
Jax then opens the cage up for us and we go find the rest of our team.
We find everyone in the courtyard of the mansion.
"It's all good" Jax starts.
"Savage is down" I finish.
"Savage is not defeated by earthly means" Carter states.
"Well, I hit him with a nuclear blast, so you know, not that earthly."
"Go get that son of a bitch" Snart says while handing Kendra the dagger which she passes to Carter.
"Are you ready to end this" Carter asks Kendra.
"We've only been waiting 4,000 years" she answers.
They walk off but I turn around and notice at least 15 guards walking toward us.
"We have company" I said while putting my hood back up.
Everyone turns around.
Rip hands Ray his suit and tells him not to leave any pieces behind which I smile at. Rip returns the smile and we all go into battle.
After fighting off all of Savage's friends, we go to find Kendra and Carter.
Carter was dead when we got to the pair and she was severely hurt.
"Get Kendra before Savage recovers" Rip instructs us. Mick picks her up and carries her in his arms.
"We can still kill this bastard" Snart yells.
"Kendra is the only one who can. We have to go. She needs medical attention."
Once we got aboard the ship I headed straight for the medbay to make sure Kendra got there safely. Once Rip came in with Ray I gave them both a slight nod and left.
I went to the bridge and sat next to Sara.
"I didn't think time travel would have so many consequences" she said.
"I know" I start.
"I remember when we were in the League together. I was so happy when you showed up on that doorstep. You made being there actually enjoyable" I continue.
"We did have some good experiences in Nanda Parbat."
"Yeah."
Everyone starts to gather on the bridge. Rip and the professor come in last.
"How's Kendra" Rip asks.
"The same" Sara and I say in unison.
"So what now" Snart asks Rip.
"Now? Now it's up to you."
"To do what Rip? Last I checked, every time we try to do anything, it all goes to crap" Ray says getting annoyed.
"Oh, once again I must disagree with you. Thanks to Ms Lance, Dr Palmer's future technology is no longer in the hands of Vandal Savage's black market weapons designers" he states.
"But it didn't do anything to change the fate of your world" I say sadly.
"No. Vandal Savage will still rise to power in the year 2166."
"So what you're really asking us is if we want to fish or cut bait? Return to 2016 and lives of the rest of our lives as insignificant losers, or make another play at becoming legends" Snart says trying to get it straight.
"Figure our how to end Savage and save the world. Preferably without causing any more nuclear explosions" Professor Stein continues.
"Savage has my attention" Mick says.
"Surely Captain Hunter has a sound plan" I say motioning over to Rip.
"What about you" Stein asks Jax.
"Your asking me?"
"I didn't give you much of a choice last time, did I?"
"Well, I say we kick Savage's ass. For Carter" he answers.
"For Carter" the whole team says in unison.
"So Captain..." I say smiling at Rip.
"Where are we going next" I ask.
