• Demi's POV •
I saw Oliver entering the Arrow Cave about 5 mins after our phone call. I quickly explained to him about everything that had just happened but he stoped me mid sentence. "Ray came to me after that time traveler guy knocked all of you out and lectured you" Oliver said way too seriously.
I got a little mad at him for making it seem like Rip was the bad guy when he wasn't, he just needed our help.
"Since i'm your older brother of course I don't want you going." I rolled my eyes at him and smiled.
"But that doesn't mean i'm going to stop you. I'll let you go but there's one condition, you have to promise me to be safe and come back to us. I don't know what Speedy and I would do if we lost you."
Me being the stubborn person I am huffed at him and said "fineeee, but just because you have your super serious scary face on."
He chuckled at me and gave me a big hug which I gladly excepted. After that we talked for a little while before he had to go. I then went home to my small apartment and went on with my night.
• 3rd Person POV •
Demi was the first to get to the address Rip gave her. Her being the polar opposite of Oliver (except for looks and their shared stubbornness), meant she was always on time to everything and hated being late.
After 5 minutes Stein and Jax pulled up in a BMW.
"Stein what happened to Jax" Demi questioned.
"It seems Mr Jackson drank a little too much" Stein said and she laughed.
About 3 minutes after Stein got there there everyone else came. Demi didn't have her suit on. She had a white leather jacket, black tank top, black ripped jeans, and her blonde hair was perfectly curled (A/N pic at top. just without the purse and with blonde hair). "Huntress! Professor! This is the place" Snart said.
"I think we're being punked. Do people still say that" Ray asked.
"No" Sara replied.
The Legends talked for a little while till Demi noticed Rip walking up to them and turned in his direction.
(A/N I should note that in this story Rip was never married to Miranda and he never had Jonas. He did date Miranda but the time masters killed her because she learned classified information. Rip had a twin sister Emma Hunter, Vandal killed her)
The second Rip got off the Waverider and saw the Legends the first one he noticed was Demi, he was taken aback by her beauty. He pledged to never love again after what happened to Miranda, but Demi made him want to break that promise.
When Demi noticed him she turned in his direction and smiled, Rip almost melted at the sight of it.
Demi barely ever smiles at anyone because of all the trauma she's been through in her life so it made him feel special.
The rest of the Legends didn't notice him till he started talking which startled them.
"Well, I see you've all decided to come" Rip said making the team turn their heads toward him.
"Let's get on our way."
"I ain't footing it anywhere" Snart snapped.
"A time masters sacred charge is to do no harm to the timeline. Imagine what a timeship would look like in, say, Victorian England" Rip queried.
"Holographic indigenous camouflage projection" Demi and Stein stated at the same time.
Everyone looked at her with surprise and confusion, wondering how she knew that term, she simply stated with her signature smirk "i'm a lot smarter than I look."
"Indeed you are, Ms Queen" Rip said while sending her a warm smile.
• Rip's POV •
I took a small handheld device out of my pocket and decloaked the ship.
"It's called the Waverider. It's been my ship for over a decade" I said admiring it.
We all boarded the ship and Demi walked alongside me as we made our way to the bridge. Demi and I turned around when we heard Professor Stein and Dr Palmer rambling on about ionic propulsion. We both smiled at each other and started talking.
"Ms Queen?-"
"Please, Mr Hunter call me Demi."
"Ok Demi, you have to call me Rip then." "Agreed" she said with a smirk.
"Did Mr Queen fight with you to stay in Star City" I asked. She looked confused for a second, sad another, then she laughed.
"Sorry Rip I thought you were talking about my father, Robert Queen, not Oliver."
"Oh i'm so sorry Ms Qu--Demi. I'm so used to formalities it's hard to get used to not using them." I apologized and laughed.
"It's fine. Oliver did actually try to convince me you were the bad guy at first, but he changed his mind seeing how much I wanted to go."
"I see."
"He still thinks of me as his younger sister who he needs to protect."
"Well I think you can handle yourself just perfectly Demi" I said making her blush which made me smile even more. By the time we concluded our talk we had made it to the bridge of the Waverider.
• Demi POV •
After everyone entered Stein asked a question "How does a vessel of this size function without a crew?"
"I don't need one. I have Gideon" Rip answered (A/N everything Gideon says is in italics).
Welcome aboard.
I jumped at the sight of a blue robotic woman's head in the middle of the bridge.
I am Gideon, an artificial consciousness programmed to operate the critical systems of this vessel and to aid Captain Hunter during his missions.
"Captain" I questioned Rip with a smirk plastered over my face.
"Gideon's been working with me to help locate Vandal Savage."
"I thought you said Savage was pretty active in the 22nd century" Ray asked.
"Perhaps engaging him at the height of his powers isn't the best strategy" Stein interjected.
"Indeed" Rip stated.
Wow and I thought Felicity was confusing. "Gideon has been trying to locate Savage throughout history, but not even she can determine where or when to find him" Rip said sounding a little defeated.
"But I have the next best thing: a man who can. Professor Aldus Boardman. Professor Boardman is the worlds leading, well only expert on Vandal Savage."
"I'm guessing we're gonna pay him a little visit Rip" I concluded.
"Correct Ms Queen." I sent him a warning glare for calling me by my last name, he mouthed 'sorry' to me which earned him a smile.
Course plotted for St. Roch, New Orleans.
"St. Roch" Carter questioned.
October 17, 1975.
"I suggest you all strap yourselves in. Time travel isn't something one wants to be standing up for" Rip warned.
"Time travel" Snart said warily.
"Cool" Mick and I finished which earned a small smirk from Rip.
"Some of you might experience some slight discomfort. In rare instances there will be bleeding from the eyeballs" he stated nonchalantly.
"i'm sorry, what" I practically yelled.
Jax woke up and started fighting with Stein. They stoped arguing and Rip spoke up.
"Just hang on and remain calm. All your worlds are about to change."
A/N that took even longer to write haha. i didn't have anything to do today so i figured i could keep writing. hopefully u like the plot and comment if you want me to add anything :)
