Dream POV: We made it to the nightmare realm. After the confusion of which universe they were in we found out THEY'VE BEEN HERE FOR HOURS! No matter, at least we can put a stop to whatever they're planning on doing to that poor girl they kidnapped! We're in the courtyard where they are discussing something. Ink gives us the signal to wait and see what the conversation is about. Maybe we'll find out some information about what they are scheming! As I'm listening this isn't the usual plotting. My brother sounds... concerned about someone! Does he have a crush. Ink lets me know that they're going to attack, but I stop them this time.
"Error, are you sure she'll be alright?"
"yYyYYeS, IiiiIII'M SUre"
"Is there anything we can do?"
"Nightmare she just needs to rest"
"Fine"
"OMG THAT'S SO SWEET I'M SO HAPPY FOR YOU BROTHER!!!!!!!!!!!" Oh no. I didn't mean to say anything
"Dream?!"
"What are you talking about? Dream isn't here! Just your ordinary talking bush!"
"Dream stop. You know you're bad at lying!" Oh boy! He's going to be very angry! I get out of the bush and start towards him.
"Are you alone"
"Y-yes?"
"Dream!"
"What?"
"Truth. NOW!"
"I-I don't know w-what you're talking about"
Y/n POV: I hear a loud voice. I don't recognize it... or where I am for that matter! I decide to find the source. Once I walk out the door I find myself in a HUGE castle, on the second floor, with a perfect view of a courtyard. Nightmare is talking to someone dressed in mostly teal with a yellow cape... HIM! HE'S ONE OF THE SKELETONS WHO HURT NIGHTMARE!! I was about to go down there and attack him before he hurts anyone, but then I realize I'm in pajamas with no weapon. 'Crap, have to...'
"Y/N!" Cross is yelling for me. I quickly retreat back into the room I woke up in, and hop into bed pulling the covers back on me. Soon Cross, Nightmare, and everyone else is in the room... including THEM. I feel myself tense when one of the other attackers talks.
" Who is she? What do you plan on DOING to her?" What? They're planning on doing something to me? I know I can't fake sleep, but that doesn't stop me from trying!
" Her name is Y/n. She was getting attacked, bullied in her universe and we stopped it. She's staying here with us since we destroyed her universe.We don't know what will happen if she wants to go back, or leave for that matter, but I wasn't just going to stand there and let her get abused by... by those IDIOTS!" There was prominent anger in his voice fir the last part. He... cares about me? Oh no! He's going to get hurt, or worse... killed. He starts stroking my hair. I pretend to make up.
"Mmhmm?"
" Sorry didn't mean to wake you" I grab his arm
"Huh? What are you..." Everything else is blurry except him. He seems concerned or scared and suddenly we are outside the castle and I hug him. He hesitantly hugs back.
"Y/n how did you teleport us out here? Why did you? What is going on?!" I hug him tighter and reply
"You can't get hurt again..."
