Y/n POV: I was taking F/n on a tour of the castle. Telling her what's in each room, where my personal favorite rooms were, and then we came across a room with a 'do not enter' sign on it.
"What's in there?!"
"I-I don't know I've never been in there before"
"We should go in!" Oh boy!
"What?! No there's a 'do not enter' sign on it! It could be private, or dangerous!"
"That's exactly why we should check it out! Come on! Aren't you even a little curious?!"
"Well yes, but we still shouldn't go in!!!" COME ON F/N!
"Well I'M going in! Feel free to join me when you stop being a wuss!" Great! Now she's going in a room with who knows what in it and if I DON'T come she's going to relentlessly tease me about it later! I don't know who's crazier between us! Her for going in there in the first place, or me for going in after her! I step into the room and she's staring at a stump. It has a light yellow color on one side, and a dark purple on the other. I can't stop looking at it. F/n says something, but I'm not listening. I slowly make my way towards the stump. Something about it feels... comforting and familiar. I hear multiple voices... they sound like... my family... no... they ARE my family! I can hear Mom, Dad, S/n (sibling name), S/n, and... Phoenix?! I can't make out what they're saying, but I don't care, as I get closer to the stump their voices grow louder, more distinct. I can't believe it! I can hear them! For the first time since they died I can hear their voices! I can almost feel there presence! Where are they?
Error POV: Oh no! Someone entered the room with the stump of the tree of feelings! Two people! I need to tell Nightmare... but he's going to be pissed! I just hope he doesn't slap anyone but the trespasser... I teleport to where Nightmare is. He's having a seemingly pleasant conversation with Cross. I don't want to ruin it, but he told me to notify him right away if anyone went into that room...
"Oh Error! What is it?" S#!%! He's gonna yell at me for this...
"uMm... wELl UhH... It'S a-AbOUt... ERm... t-tHe.. tThE... umM" Cross looks annoyed
"Just spit it out so we can continue talking!" I start to sweat, and the glitching in my voice intensifies...
"I-i-It'S AbOUt... ThE thiNG..." REALLY ERROR?! JUST SPIT IT OUT!
"What thing? Error are you alright? Your sweating..."
"nOT rEAlLy, iT'S aBOuT tHe THiNg... w-W-W-wItH ThE SiGN..." My thoughts are starting to mix together and they pound on my skull... if this keeps up much longer I'm gonna crash.
"WHAT SIGN?! Error if you're just messing with us stop!"
"Cross calm down! Error please just tell me. You know I don't like being concerned..." The glitching in my voice gets even worse
"T-t-T-TH-ht-tH-E-e... I-i-I..."
"Error I think you should sit down... you look like your about to crash..." Nightmare is definitely going to KILL me after this! He forces me to sit down. This doesn't help
"S-s-s-S-SiG-N-n-n O-o-on-n t-h-h-th-ht-e -r-R-r-RR-O-o-O-O-M-m-M-M..." Cross stops being an
"Error? Okay calm down dude... Nightmare?"
"Error just try to stay calm. If you can't say it try writing, typing, or maybe even drawing a picture if you need to..."
"D-d-dD-o-OO-Or... r-R-Oo-o-m-M... S-si_ign... r-R-r-ru-u-U-l-l-l-L-E-e-E-E"
