Night 2- The Exorcism of Emily Rose

Cammy and her brother were watching 'The Exorcism of Emily Rose' while her mother cooked lunch and her baby niece slept in her crib beside them.

"Turn down the volume, Carter. If it's too loud, Sundrea might wake up." she whispered to her younger brother and he obeyed.

The movie started and Cammy and Carter hid inside the blanket they shared. At 13, this was the time that Cammy was trying to prove that ghost didn't scare her but it just wasn't that easy considering that Cammy has a very wild imagination. The movie ended and Sundrea woke up. Cammy played with her for hours that day and it took her mind off of what happened in the middle of that morning to her.

School had ended for a holiday of about two weeks today and Cammy was glad to finally have some time off from studying. She pretty much spent the day with her niece, watching movies and reading her books.

Night fell and it was time to go to sleep again. But Cammy wasn't particularly looking forward to it. It was pretty hard to sleep when ghosts were all that was in your mind. Cammy went to bed at midnight and fell asleep about 20 minutes later.

Cammy woke up to find herself in the same position she was in yesterday. She was yet again facing the wall and was sitting at the edge of her bed. Cammy was starting to freak out. She took slow breaths and checked the time on her phone. It read 2:59 am but a mere second passed and it read 3 am. Her heart plummeted to her stomach and she nervously looked up to the wall. As she expected, a shadow was creeping beside hers and she jumped back into bed and hid in her blanket. She was starting to get a cold feeling now and she almost wanted to run out of her room and run into her parents' arms but she was too afraid to come out from the blanket, fearing what she might see if she did.

"No,no,no...please! It's just my imagination. Yeah, that's what it is." she assured herself mentally but then she thought,

"But twice in a row? What is happening to me?"

To calm herself down, she started singing 'I love you' by Barney because it usually made her feel safe when she was scared. She carried on doing this for quite a while before she drifted off again.

"I'll figure things out when I wake up later." she thought before falling asleep.
