Night 5- I believe you

Cammy's sister, Ysabelle, was putting her niece to sleep while her brother-in-law, Sander, was watching a movie. At last, Sundrea fell asleep and Cammy sat next to her sister.

"Hey, Ysa? Do you believe in ghosts and stuff like that." Cammy asked warily. Ysabelle gave her sister an odd look because for one, Cammy didn't like anything to do with ghost and second, her sister actually looked scared and nervous.

"I don't know, Cam. It depends. Why do you ask?" Ysabelle asked her sister.

"Promise you won't laugh?" Cammy asked her sister and Ysabelle nodded.

"I think something's in my room with me." Cammy whispered to her sister and proceeded to tell Ysabelle the whole story.

"Are you sure that it's not just your imagination?" Ysabelle asked her sister doubtfully and Cammy nodded vehemently.

"I'm sure. I'm not making things up, Ysa. It visits me every night for four days now. I don't know what to do. Mom and Dad don't believe me and Carter is too scared to believe me. You're the only one who doesn't think I'm crazy. What should I do?" Cammy inquired of her sister.

"You could ask Carter to sleep in bed with you for a few nights. You have that queen mattress sitting in your room. You both could fit there. Let's see if you still get disturbed even though you have someone with you." Ysabelle said and Cammy gave her big sister a hug.

"Thanks, Ysa. You're the best sister ever!" Cammy told her sister and Ysabelle laughed.

"What about me? Where's my hug?" Sander whined and I left their room to give them their privacy.

"Cammy! Cammy! Wake up!" Carter's distant voice called to Cammy. She slowly opened her eyes and found herself in the position she thought she would never be in ever again.

"No..." she gasped. Carter took out his sister's phone from underneath her pillow and handed it to her. Cammy shook her head and pushed it away.

"You check." she croaked and Carter did as he was told. Carter had shivers up his spine and gulped down roughly.

"2:59 a.m." he breathed and Cammy prepared for the worst part.

"3 a.m." Carter announced and Cammy looked up at her wall. The shadow was slowly starting to form now. Cammy stared at the wall with a scared expression on her face.

"Cammy? Cammy? What is it?" Carter asked his paralysed sister. He looked to what Cammy was watching and he saw his sister's shadow on the wall. He wasn't seeing anything out of the ordinary but he suspected that his sister was.

"Cammy, is the thing here? Is it on the wall beside you?" Carter asked his sister and Cammy nodded slowly.

"He's here." she whispered eerily.

"He?" Carter asked confused.

"It's a man's silhouette." Cammy clarified. She started crying and Carter laid his sister down on the bed and hugged her.

"I thought he wouldn't come back anymore. I thought that if I wasn't alone, he wouldn't visit me anymore." Cammy sobbed and Carter was trying so hard not to be scared too for the sake of his sister.

"Shh... I'll protect you, Cammy. I won't let him hurt you. I believe you now." Carter soothed his sister and Cammy nodded.

So only she could see the demon. No one else could see him. But still Carter stuck with her. Cammy was glad that at least her siblings believed her. But what difference did it make when the demon only wants her? And her alone.
