Kyle's Pov
I sat in the waiting room with Jason to the left if me.
'Better be awake; better be awake!' I kept thinking.
"Family of Jones?" The doctor asked. I immediately jumped up.
"Yes?"
"What relation is she to you?"
"She's my sister!" Jason spoke, saving my a$$.
"We don't know what her condition is yet. She's not in a coma, but she's not waking up."
"Is she......not here anymore?" Jason cracked his voice.
"Oh, no. She's alive. She's not responding to any treatment but she's not in a coma. She could possibly slip into one though."
I blinked several times to process the information. I walked away and headed to the police station to murder the ba$tard who did this.
*******************Flashback********************
Hailee shut off every light and locked all the doors and windows. She forced us to the ground.
Hailee? What the-" She slapped her hand to my mouth and with her free hand she brought her index finger to her mouth.
"Shh!"
Bam, Bam, Bam!
"Open this fúcking door!" Yelled the voice.
Bam, Bam, Bam!
'What's going on?'
Bam, Bam, Bam!
The door busted open and the mysterious figure came into the room.
"Didn't I tell you when you were younger to open the door to those you love?"
The figure grabbed a lamp off the table and stood over Hailee. Bailee covered her head laid still. The lamp crashed over her head and I jumped up, my fist meeting his eye. He stumbled back.
"Get her out of here and call an ambulance!" I sent another punch to the guy on the floor trying to get up.
"I can't! I'll be recognized and be sent to jail!"
"Then leave!"
She got up and ran for the doer, disappearing into the pitch black night. Knocking out the guy on the floor, I ran over to Hailee.
"Hailee? Come on! Don't leave me!" I called 9-1-1.
"9-1-1 what's your emergency?"
I explained and the cops and an ambulance came.
***************End of Flashback*****************
I slammed the door of the police station open. Everyone looked up at me.
"Hello, do you have a reason to be here?" A policewoman said behind a desk/counter.
"I called a little while ago about-"
"We're not giving you any information, sir." I slammed my fist down on the counter in front of her making her jump.
"It doesn't matter!" I growled. "I need to speak with someone. Now!"
"You need to leave."
"I'm not going anywhere until I speak with someone." My eyes scanned the room for the man I remember hurting Hailee. My eyes landed on him. He was sitting in a cell in the corner. Ignoring the policewoman, I stomped my way over to him.
"You piece of shít! If you get out of here, you won't live!" My hands were tugged behind my back and handcuffs went over my wrists. "The héll?!"
"Sir, you're under arrest under the account of wanting to murder. Anything you say can and will be held against you in a court of law..." She read off my Miranda Rights. "Do you understand?"
"Actually, not really. I said if he gets out. Keep him here and I wont hurt him."
"You're still spending the night here. In the morning, you can have a phone call. Make sure to include your bail."
"Fúck. How much?"
"We'll let you know." She dragged me over to an empty cell and threw me in. I backed up to the cell bars and she undid the handcuffs. I slumped over to the so-called bed and sat on it. This can't get any worse than it is...
