"Someone's home!" Mom sing-songed as we came through the front door of her house.

Kay came through the kitchen.

"Hailee!" She hugged me tight. "I've missed you!"

"I missed you too." I staggered for breath.

"Kay, let go of the poor girl, she hasn't been rp sleep yet, remember?"

"Oh, right! Duh!" She grabbed my suitcase and scuttled off to my room.

"Thanks for completely ignoring me!" Jason called.

"You're welcome!" She called back. I laughed and went to my room. There was always two beds. One for me in one corner, another for Kay because she always spent the night here. Like Mom, her mom didn't care. I flopped down on my bed when I reached my room.

"Uh-uh. First, tell me why you're dressed Luke that, what on Earth did you do to your once beautiful hair and what's going on with Kyle?" She wiggled her eyebrows at the mention of Kyle.

"Let me sleep, lady."

"No. Gossip! I need it, so spill damñ it!"

"Language!" Mom hollered.

"Sorry!" Kay called. "Spill already!"

"And that, my friend, is the doubtful love story of Hailee Jones and Kyle Smith." I was tired. So tired I skipped details in my own story. I didn't even know if some of the details were true or not.

"Awe. He fell for you? And you didn't fall for him?"

"Who said I didn't fall?"

"Awe! You fell too?"

"Not as hard as he did though."

"Can't you graduate here?"

"Sadly, no. Our school wants us to be there. Even Kyle will be there. He's taking online classes for school as well.

"Where did he move to?"

"He moved from Pasadena, California to Las Vegas, Nevada."

"And we moved from Pasadena California to here, in Brazil?" I nodded my head.

"I hope you guys have your happy ending!"

"Hows yours going?"

"My happy ever after? That will get here when I'm in a home for old people at the age of 50 and have no wrinkles in my skin and an 80 year old man will come up to me and say with an oxygen tank behind him, "hey little lady, you up for some fun? I got old maid!" And then I would die laughing."

"Wow. I could totally see that happening!"

"Oh shut up. Anyways, I'm going on a date with a boy named Martin next week. He's cute and smart but he doesn't study 24/7 like the other nerds do."

"Good for you then, Kay."

"What up, bítches!?" Spencer came into my room.

"Nothing much."

"Good. Is Jason here?" She said that excitedly. "I mean, did Jason come? If he did, I don't care." She pretended to look at her nails.

"Yup, he did. He's in his roo-" Before I could say, "room", she was gone. She darted towards Jason's room. What a love struck girl. I went to my suitcase and pulled out pajamas and headed to my bathroom.

My phone, of course rings and Kay picks it up.

"Yellow?" I turned on the shower. "Hailee!" Groaning, I stomped out of the bathroom and looked at Kay.

"I was just stepping into the shower!"

"Uh, Kyle's on the phone." Both our eyes were wide now.

I lunged for my phone. "Hello?"

"Hailee?"

"Yeah?"

"Where are you?"

"Home."

"Where?"

"Brazil, duh."

"No, what's your address?"

I told him my address and he said, "Be there ASAP."

Why? I don't even know.

"Why was he calling?"

"He says he'll be here soon. I'm leaving tomorrow though."

"Right, the fashion show...."

"Yeah......" I went to the bathroom and stepped into the now luke warm water.
