Hybrid Princess

*Hey Guys! I'm back, sorry I haven't updated in a while I have been dealing with a lot and I have appreciated you guys for understanding.*

I sighed as I stared at Wade's face, I still couldn't believe he was a human now. But also, why was he my mate? I thought the Alpha of Italy was my mate....

It is really rare to have two mates as it is but unheard of a seahorse ending up being a mate to their owner. Although it would make sense because they have to have kids at one point, right?

Groaning could be heard from Wade as he shifted in the bed, his arms brushing against mine sending sparks across my skin. My eyebrows got close together as I sat there confused.

In a matter of a month I have found out I would be marrying a Alpha, getting a seahorse, finding said Alpha was my mate, run away, get hurt, wake up, find my supposed real family, see Wade as a boy, and now he is also my mate?

As I questioned myself my animal, Audrey, replied 'Honey, I think our life is just one ducked up crispy peanut butter sandwich.'

I chuckled a little at her soft tone as she tried to cheer me up. Sighing, for maybe the hundredth time since I woke up, I decided to look around the room. It was a moderately sized bedroom with a bathroom attachment. The bed was a queen sized bed with a gray and white comforter. The walls were a light royal purple with white crown molding. Two doors were across the room from the bed with a gray painted dresser in between them.

So far my 'real' parents lived in a pretty nice house with all that they needed. But why did I grow up with another family thinking I was a princess?

My brain started to hurt as questions kept popping up into my mind. Suddenly I could feel someone staring at the side of my face. Glancing to the side I saw Wade staring intensely at me.

"Hm.." I said towards him to engage conversation.

"You're probably confused. Although I wouldn't blame you if you were." He sighed heavily before he continued talking. "You see, because I am your seahorse I am also your.... um.... second chance mate so to speak."

"Why are you my second chance mate if I haven't been rejected by my first one?"

Pain filled his eyes as he spoke softly, "Well technically I am your first mate. I did meet you before that other buffoon. But when you told me about the way he was treating you I knew I couldn't let him take you away. So I strengthened our bond by turning into a human, to be.... compatible with your body."

Shock was clearly written all over my face because I didn't know that Wade was my mate at all. How did my life get so complicated???? This is a bunch a ducked out peanut butter sandwiches with a whole lot of bull crap and crapple sider to match it.

Audrey laughed as she said 'You took the words right out of my mouth."
