Kim Taehyung used to be an innocent boy, one with worries only regarding waking up early enough for his cafe shift and how to make his friends laugh. He used to be free. But oh, how that all changed in a minute.

Kim.Taehyung POV

As my alarm rang I groaned in frustration. Why the heck did my alarm need to wake me up at 6 O'clock? Oh yeah, I have work. Groaning heavily I snuggled deeper into my covers after switching the alarm clock off and welcomed sleep. Work can wait. Oh boy, how I regret my decision right now. It's now currently 20 minutes till my shift at half past 7 and it takes fifteen minutes to get there. Groaning I got out of bed and put bread in the toaster then brushed my teeth and washed my face at the speed of lightning. Then I changed into black jeans and a blue sweater. Only then did the smell of burning waft into my nose. Great, burnt toast and a rush to work, good start to the day I muttered sarcastically. I bit into the toast trying to ignore the taste than ran down my throat and was hugging my taste buds. Disgusting. Frowning I binned my toast. I would just have to skip breakfast. Putting on my coat I rushed through the front door with 10 minutes to go. I groaned and began running. I did not want to be late, not after was Hoseok had made me do last time. It's too traumatic to even explain what Hoseok did.

Thoughts of what would happen if I late ran through my mind as I sprinted to reach the cafe. I realised I probably looked mad and was raising the attention of several others. I bet I looked like a guy running for his life who runs weird and probably really slow. Actually, I was a really fast runner, memories of marathons and races came back into my head. That was where I had met Hoseok, at a marathon in Seul. I mentally slapped myself as I nearly ran into a lamppost. Focus Taehyung! Focus on running! I groaned as I got a stitch but to my relief, the cafe was a few steps away. Panting and stumbling like a train wreck I entered the cafe, the familiar ding of a bell greeting me.

"Kim Taehyung! Where were you, care to explain why you were half an hour late?" I looked up to meet with the face of a very angry Hoseok. I gulped. Hoseok could be the devil if he wanted but also an angel, right now I might be facing the devil. Wait... Didn't I make it in time? I thought confused. But then it struck me, the reason why I had my alarm ring so early. The shift started at 7 O'clock today.

"Sorry Hoseok I  thought shifts started at 7:30," I mumbled apologetically. I let a bit of relief enter my system as I saw Hoseok's face soften. "Get changed into work clothes, do you want me to ring you in the mornings to wake up?" I grinned, Hoseok was nice. "Yeah, thanks" Maybe he forgot about my punishment, he hasn't mentioned it yet. But then as if answering my thoughts Hoseok's eyes narrowed,"Don't think I've not forgotten about your punishment, I'll give you an easy punishment this time because I feel bad," Hoseok exclaimed smirking then chuckling to himself. I groaned, head hung low and my relief slowly evaporating whilst I headed towards the changing rooms. That laugh and smirk signalled something bad was going to happen for my punishment. I mentally prayed for Hoseok to forget and forgive me. Then I smiled as I fished my clothes out from my messy locker and changed. If I was a good worker he just may lessen the punishment. I smothered my grin with my hand till it went, then headed to the front of the cafe. I saw Hoseok swinging the 'closed' sign to the 'now open' sign.

"Hey, where's Baekhyun?"I asked Hoseok. "He wasn't feeling well so he couldn't make it to today's shift, so we're going to have to work extra hard today," Hoseok answered. I sighed then went behind the counter and stole a marshmallow and popped it quickly into my mouth hoping Hoseok wouldn't see. But unfortunately, like always he saw. "Taehyung don't eat the ingredients!" he exclaimed tone resembling a mother scolding a child. "Fine, fine, fine Hopie," I said watching in amusement as his face magically turned 50 shades redder. Apparently, his boyfriend called him that and everytime someone called Hoseok 'Hopie' he wouldn't stop blushing. I looked up as the bell dinged again. The first customer for the day had arrived. After serving her more people had arrived. I sighed, this was going to be one long hectic day.
