Chapter 20

Dante's point of view

"I don't have the words Dante." Vergil said. I grinned and said, "was she that hot that you were speechless?" He rolled his eyes and continued to read his ancient times book. I thought of checking her out when he's not around. And talk about great timing! He left and went to the bathroom. I cautiously removed the blanket on top of her and revealed her white slender legs. I touched them and it was very smooth. I looked at her sleeping form. I heard water running from the bathroom signifying that V is taking a shower.

This is my lucky day! Though when Vergil finds out... he will probably kill me, but she's another girl that came into this shop and that means business with ME. I raised her shirt and saw her black underwear. I was about to reveal her bra until the stupid summoned swords of Vergil pinned me to the wall. He was just in a towel that showed off his body. "So what? I show off my body all the time!" Just then Alison woke up. She held her head and sat up and leaned on the couch. She groaned in pain. She looked down and screamed. She quickly pulled down the shirt and blushed.

Vergil sighed and she looked his way but immediately turned away. "What the hell did you that for?" I shouted at him. No answer. He went over to Alison, "How are you feeling?" Alison blushed. "My head hurts that's all... why am I wearing this?" Vergil ignored what she asked. "Shy type." Vergil placed his hand on her forehead. "There's something wrong about this! Will you let me go?!" He then turned to me. "No." He said sternly. I jaw-dropped. "What?! You can't keep me here forever! I'll starve and I'll get horny! What are you gonna do when that happens?!" He then sighed.

He went to his room. Then I had a great idea. "Hey Alison." She looked at me while she held her head and her arm on the couch. "What?" I grinned. "Would you mind sucking my dick for me?" She was so shocked that she hid behind the couch. "And why would I do that?!" Her face was completely red. "Come on. It'll be fun! Just seeing you wearing something like that makes my mind go wild." My grin widened. "Will you please shut up?!" She screamed.

"Is she not used to people talking and doing sex wherever it is or whenever it is? She is definitely a virgin!" (Shut up Dante) I thought to myself. "Are you a virgin?" She threw a kunai and I felt something on my head. "Ouch! That hurts! Where the hell did she get this?" I shouted. "Crap she can't know that I'm not purely human!" I pretended that I died. And she was hiding behind the couch.

Vergil came back fully dressed and held Yamato in his hand. "What are you doing there?" He said taking the sight of Alison hiding. "I killed Dante." He looked at me and saw the kunai. "Alison we need to tell you something...." he released me and I removed the kunai. "Thanks a lot." I said not really meaning it. "Let's sit here." Then she stood up and sat on the couch totally freaked out.

"H-how are you still....... alive?" She pointed at me. He then sighed. "Well to put it simply we are 50% human." She raised a brow, "50%?" Well of course she wouldn't understand. I looked down. "Then what's the other half?" "Demon... our mother was a human and our father is a demon." I thought she would freak out and despise us but instead, "so do people despise you when you were younger or what?"

"We lived alone in the woods with our parents, so not much people around." I said while leaning on my chair. "Question." I looked at her. "Where did you get that kind of attitude if there were no one else around you?" I plopped my legs on my desk, "when they died." She then saddened. "I'll be out for a while.... don't do anything stupid Dante." He left. I observed Alison. She was lost in her thoughts. "What's wrong?" I asked. She shook her head signifying 'nothing'.

"Come on. You can tell me." I insisted. She sighed, "how did your parents die? If you don't mind me asking." I placed my hands behind my head, "well our father disappeared when he closed the portal to the demon world shut... and our mother....... she died in my arms when I was younger, Vergil was out in the woods but was also attacked. Once we buried her body, we left the place and when I cried Vergil said that I should man up and be strong because that's what our parents have been teaching us." She smiled slightly.

"So that's what motivates you to be so lively?" I nodded. "What about him? Why is he like that?" She asked curiously. "Well I don't really know... you should ask him. Anyway. This is the first time I've seen him like this... getting worked up from such little thing, being restless at night, deep in thought and many more unusual." I sighed as I remembered when we were in the hospital.

"What do you mean Alison is my weakness?" His facial expression was priceless! It totally showed anger from being teased. I giggled silently for her not to hear. She stood up and pulled down her shirt. She roamed my shop/house looking through the objects. Then she came across a room. She was about to turn the knob but she decided not to. She then walked to me. "So since you and him don't have your parents anymore.... how do you earn money?" I then beamed with excitement. "Well we do jobs ourselves!" She rose an eyebrow, "what job?"

Then out of the blue Vergil appeared and said, "we hunt down demons" Alison shrieked and hid behind me. She gripped on my arm and I'm not going to lie about this but, "it hurts!" I didn't react to Vergil's appearance but I slightly flinched when Alison got behind me. "You might want to loosen your grip onto Dante..... he's going to get hurt" she then abruptly released me from her grip and mumbled a "sorry". Vergil lead her upstairs to show his room where she will be staying at for the night.

He came back and looked ever more serious. "Dante feet and magazine down. This is serious." I ignored his order. "Don't make me do it myself. I won't tell you a third time." He said sternly. I obeyed and listened. "Look Alison's brother Allby is in coma-" I cut him off by saying, "yeah I already know that. What-" he then pointed his sword to my throat. I gulped and he sighed. "Is it that serious?" He nodded. "Now. Will you listen?" I nodded.

"Allby was in coma because the doctors said he got in car accident. The bus got hit by a truck." I frowned not getting what he's trying to imply. He groaned, "I'm trying to say that it's not a car accident." My frown deepened, "why do you say so?" He sheathed his sword and sat on a chair. "If it was a car crash and in a bus.... why is Allby the only one in the hospital right now?" I started gathering my own thoughts. "Alison said that Allby's condition has worsened." My eyes widened. "How?" He placed a little container on my desk and I observed it.

"Ever heard of a demonic poison?" I nodded. "I went to the hospital and took a sample of Allby's blood. I sneaked in a room and forced a biologist to do an examination of Allby's sample blood.". "Where did you get his blood his wounds are closed." He then sighed. "That's not our case here but what I'm saying is why would they poison Allby? Why did those demons attack Allby?" I shrugged my shoulders, "I don't have a damn clue." He then tapped his fingers on my desk rapidly, thinking of something. "How do you cure the poison?" I asked.

"That's what I'm trying to figure out." I then flipped through my magazine and said, "you know.... if she's being chased by demons... she's gotta stay here" he looked at me. "They have their own mansion and it's heavily guarded. But for demons.... it will be easy as pizza to break in." He arched an eyebrow and said, "and what do you think she will say?" And then just in time, Alison came and asked, "about what?" She was by the stairs her hand leaning on the wall with the same height of her shoulders.

"Oh! Hi Alison" I greeted her. "We were just talking about you. Come on." She frowned curiously, "and why would you be talking about me?" Vergil sighed and leaned on the chair. "Well since you're being chased by the demons, we thought that you'd stay here 'til we find out why they're coming after you." She thought deeply. "Okay, but in return I'll be doing all the job of a woman in the house for you letting me stay." I pouted while smirking and rose my eyebrows, "whatever you say babe."

"With that settled, you need to know this." Vergil said and threw the container to Alison and she caught it. "What's this?" "Demon poison" "what for?" "It's been injected in Allby's body, that's why his condition worsened." Vergil explained.
