Vergil's point of view

I am in school as usual reading to keep myself distracted. I kept myself distracted so that I can avoid these feelings I feel whenever Alison is around. Though it keeps getting stronger neither she's not around nor she is. I haven't seen her the whole day. For the women, it was a miracle but to me it was a nightmare. She won't leave my mind. I try to think about the lessons and answer the quizzes but she just won't leave!

She also always come home late at night. We moved in their mansion since Dante's shop is relatively well-known for the demons which makes Alison and Allby much more of an easy target. Whenever the thought of Alison getting killed in front of me enrages me. It makes me want to go kill every single demon after her. It was just so frustrating!

I went to the room given to me and placed my katana on the table. I laid back down and read a couple of books not long before Dante starts to shout along with Allby. I heard the shouting stop and decided to take a bath. I soaked in the water thinking of Alison's condition. "Why can't she leave my mind?!"

I decided to get up and get some sleep but I heard a gunshot. I peeked out of the bedroom after I wore my clothes a few minutes after the shot. I saw Alison dragging a body out and to the kitchen. I walked down quietly and she had already stabbed him. I watched her mop the floor after throwing the body somewhere outside. I sat on the living room chair that can rotate.

As a dramatic effect, I opened the lamp beside me while facing the other way. I slowly turned around and to see her standing there wearing only my over-sized shirt. "Why are you still up?" She asked. "Shouldn't I be the one asking you that?" I tapped my finger repeatedly while waiting for her to confess what she did. "What?" She asked once more but I slightly snapped. "'What?' Do you know what time it is? Why are you still up at this late hour at night? And why are you just wearing that shirt?" I piled up the questions at her and she groaned in annoyance, "Stop talking. It's creepy when you talk a lot. You're usually a silent type and you're acting like you're my father."

I stood up and kneeled in front of her examining the blood. She pulled down the shirt and sat down facing a different direction while keeping a shocked face. I sighed, "let me see." Her expression got worse and I mentally face-palmed. I grabbed her thigh and she groaned in pain. I asked and dipped my fingers to take the bullet out, she screamed but I covered her mouth to silence her.

As I successfully removed the bullet, "pistol magnum.... who shot you?" She hissed in pain, "He didn't give his damn name." I carried her and she yelped and held on to me like no there's no tomorrow. Somehow there's something inside me that wants her to always be by my side. "Can you at least give some warning?" She asked but never changed her position. A smirk made it's way on my lips and I carried her to her bathroom and set her on the counter then went through her cupboard.

I took the first aid kit, "It's okay I can handle myself. You should go back and sleep." She said but I insisted, I haven't seen her for so long and it's been a headache. When she's here nothing can be more brighter. An idea popped in my mind, I took the alcohol, "this will hurt a lot." I poured the alcohol and kissed her. I roamed and explored her entire cavern at the same time wiping the wound with a clean cloth.

Once she stopped screaming I pulled away and wiped it again with a clean cloth soaked in clean water. I placed her foot on my thigh to raise it up so I can wrap the bandage around it. I put down her leg and put my hands on her sides trapping her. She looked at me straight into the eyes, as I did the same.

There was something speaking to me but I don't know where it came from. It was saying "closer" over and over again and for some reason, I obeyed. She might be also hearing it since she's coming closer to me too. I looked at her lips and she fluttered her eyes shut. As we made contact, I closed my eyes as well.

Her lips were so soft and so warm that I don't want to pull away anymore. She and I didn't move, it felt like the time stopped and when we pulled away, she leaned her forehead on mine with a sweet smile on her lips. I stared at her beautiful face and never wanted to let her go. I sensed an intruder near so I pulled away and left the bathroom. She followed.

I opened the door and stopped for a while to say "good night" she smiled. "Good night to you too." My heart skipped a beat and I left. I can't believe we shared a real kiss this time. She didn't know what happened in the hospital so that practically doesn't count... I think. I took my katana and searched for some demons to hunt.

I got back home at 5:30 AM and saw Alison leave her room wearing the same clothes as the one she was wearing when we first came into their home. She went down and to the kitchen she goes. I smiled at how cheerful she was. I made my way to my room. I opened the door with a smile still plastered on my face.

But that turned upside down as I saw Dante in my room reading some of my books. "What are you doing here?" I asked. He threw the book aside and then faced me, "you're not your usual self. Mind telling me why?" I sighed, "get out. I have other things to do." He then groaned. "Let's see. Your grades went down. You keep spacing out. You keep frowning and you always crumple up the papers whenever we have a quiz in school. What's wrong with you?"

"Nothing. I'm fine now. Now would you please leave?" He made a shocked expression. "What's the matter now?!" I asked starting to lose my cool. "Y-y-you just said p-p-please!" He was right. I never said please before so I just came up with an excuse, "can't you just accept the fact that I finally said please?" He wildly shook his head signifying it as a complete big "no".

A knock was heard and I said, "come in." The door revealed Alison with a sweet smile and she said, "breakfast is ready. Come on." I smiled, "sure. Come on, Dante." He gave an even more terrified expression. "What's wrong with him?" Alison asked me. "I don't even know what's wrong with my own twin." She walked over to Dante and asked him nicely, "he just smiled. Not an evil smile. A happy smile!"

She tilted her head to the side, "what's wrong with that? Everyone deserves to be happy. Oh and yeah! Mika's coming over along with Zach." I felt something burn in my gut and I didn't like it at all. Hearing Zach's name from Alison makes me uncomfortable. Dante lit up when he heard Mika's name. He immediately sprinted out of my bedroom and freshened up.

She stood beside me and, "and here I thought he didn't care." I smiled at her. "Well I guess he was right, you smiled. You look cute when you smile, there's nothing creepy about it though." She kissed my cheek and went downstairs. Oh how I wish it was on the lips. I think we have mutual understandings now.

I followed her downstairs to see her welcoming the two visitors. Zach took her hand and kissed it. Rage made it's way to it's meter and I just ignored it. Mikaela saw the bandage and I heard her shout, "what happened to you?!" She calmed Mikaela down and I heard her say, "don't worry Vergil helped me." Then they entered.

"Good morning, V!" Mikaela greeted. "Good morning." She was shocked, "oh my god is that really you?! Did you just greeted me back?" I nodded and she jumped in accomplishment. Dante came down looking cleaner and more decent as ever. "Good morning babe!" Mikaela greeted and they all sat. Allby was on Alison's right and Mikaela was on her left. I was in front of Alison to my left is Zach. And to my right is Dante.

We all ate bacon and eggs. "Who cooked?" Dante asked. "Me." Alison said. "Really?! You know how to cook?!" She face-palmed. "Okay. Okay. Okay. Just calm down. It was just so delicious that I forgot my name. Nah just joking but it is delicious." Dante licked his fingers sa outing the taste of the food.

After that we all had fun in the garden together.
