Chapter 29

Alison's point of view

I am very uncomfortable with my current situation. I can't see a thing! But then again Vergil's still here. He hasn't left to eat nor study yet. It touched me that he's looking out for me. But I don't want to be a burden to him. I felt him move but then again he was lying down. I spaced out thinking about the past when he was still "angry" at at me. I giggled when I remembered Vergil and I were passing through the obstacles in PE. To be honest, it was like the American Ninja Warrior's mount Midoriyama.

My train of thoughts was cut off when I heard little snores. Since it was quiet even the sound of an ant can be heard. I smiled at the sound of his snores. I wish I could see his face, so I could compare his sleeping face to the previous. I felt another presence and this time... it was dark and cold. I shivered not knowing of what might happen. "Vergil!" I shouted then I heard a slashing sound.

I gripped on the blanket and heard a thud and heard what seemed like ashes disappearing in the wind. I felt a hand grab mine and I knew it belonged to Vergil's. I let out a relieved-exasperated sigh and he just let me lie down. "Just sleep." I slept but before that I realized something. "Wait! Vergil said he'll be gone and Mark would come over." I felt my consciousness fading.

"N-no." I muttered.

Mark's point of view

I bought some snacks for Alison to eat since the food they feed her are tasteless. I waited in line and it was so long. "God! Will this take too long?!" I waited for at least an hour after Vergil called and told me to stay by Alison's side just in case anything happens.

After one hour and thirty minutes, I was finally next! I purchased it and hurried to Alison's room. I make it to the floor but I drop my stuff and went to the nurses that was helping the nurse of Alison. "What happened?!" His arm was bleeding and his glasses were shattered and he coughed blood, "something took her." I stiffened and remembered what Vergil said, "please don't let it be demons.... what was it?" He coughed once again. "It was some s-sort of d-demon. It just barged through the door with Alison on it's shoulder."

I clenched my fists and called Vergil. "Pick-up" I kept saying repeatedly. I kept calling until he picked up, "what?" He asked. "Alison's been taken." I could feel his anger from here. "When did you find out?" He was obviously controlling his anger. "Just now." He ended the call and I just went back to the mansion.

I got there and took Allby with the rest of the personnel in the attic. The very same attic where Alison hid. We hid there and we informed Vergil of where we are. "Mark. Are you sure no one would find us?" Amy asked. I held her hand. "Let's just hope that they don't." We all joined hands. "Where's nee-chan?" I looked at him and Amy said, "don't worry. Vergil's going to bring her back safe and sound. After all, you said that he loves her right?" Allby nodded. "Then he will keep her from all harm."

Allby smiled and hugged her. Amy really knows how to keep our faith and hopes up. This one of the reasons why I love her.

Dante's point of view

I was reading my magazine when Vergil's phone rang. Good thing the professor was absent. "What?" He answered. I saw his hand against the table and it was almost destroyed. "When did you find out?" He asked. His hand dug deeper and it left a deep crater. "It must be bad." He ended the call and finally destroyed the table. "Let's go Dante!" I feel a stronger demonic aura surrounding him.

Mikaela followed us. We went to my shop and Mika spoke. "Where are you guys going?" Vergil looked back and he was more furious than ever. "A demon took Alison." We both gasped. "Well then let's go." Mika said. Vergil jumped on the post. "How'd he do that?" Mika asked. "Oh yeah, only Alison knows that we're half demons." I sighed, "I think it's time you knew. We are not fully human. We're just half. The other is demon. Our mother is a human and our father is a demon." Vergil then jumped and I carried her.

"I'll explain the rest to you later." I jumped and she yelped. "Did you find her?" I asked V. "She's in the forest." I asked, "who took her?" He frowned, "Zach. But we don't know what kind of Zach this is." I nodded and Mika was just silent worried about Alison.

Time skip

Night time has fallen, Mika and I were following Vergil. Not long someone attacked us. I was about to counter but Mika beat me to it. She was using some sort of weapon. "How'd you do that? Don't tell me your also half-demon" she shook her head. "No. I'm completely human. I'm just a great demon exorcist." She smiled at me. We saw a portal and entered it. "Doesn't it seem like we're walking right into their traps?"

Mika wore a mask that enables her to breathe while in the demon world.... I think. "Well. Well. Well. Looks like we have visitors." Someone said. We looked up. "The prince of darkness." Vergil said. "Yes. What brings you here?" Mika shouted, "where's Alison?!" The prince of darkness laughed, "do not be too hasty...... were just preparing for our ritual." Mika clenched her fists, "don't fucking play with us! There many types of rituals!"

"Oh. Are you a demon exorcist, human? And yet you are friends with three. Rather two." Vergil attacked but was blocked by a boulder. "Well 1/2 + 1/2 = 1 and the other is full-blooded." Our eyes widened, "Alison?!" He chuckled. "What did you seriously think that Alison is a human?" He laughed louder. "No! Alison is not a human. That's why we've been targeting her. Because the potential of her power is extremely magnificent and rare!"

I attacked using ebony and ivory. "Vergil, Mika. Go... I'll deal with this psycho." They ran off and I showed down with this lunatic. "Do you really think that you can defeat the prince of darkness?" I smirked. "Darkness my ass. I don't feel any of it." He scoffed, "then I will make you!" Lesser demons started gathering around me but it didn't made me flinch at all. "Well bring it on! This party's getting crazy! Let's rock!" I attacked and they did the same but they couldn't catch up.

After I shot the last abyss. "That all you got?" I asked. I then heard Mika scream. "Mika." I ran to her since the prince of darkness made his escape. I saw her holding her arm and saw Zach. "Zach?" He attacked, "no one will get in between me and Alison. Even if that means killing the ones in my way!" He transformed into a demon and repeatedly attacked us. I carried Mika. "Let me fight him. He's my cousin. I'll deal with him. You help Vergil."

I frowned, "Vergil doesn't need my help!" She removed my arms around her and blocked Zach's attack. "Are you sure about that?" I looked over towards Vergil and he was just evading his enemy's attacks. So the ritual was mind control. "Alison! SNAP OUT OF IT" Vergil shouted as he clashed his sword with her black sword. It looked like a shadow. "Are you sure you can handle him?" She smirked, "yeah don't worry about me. It'll be just like training with me always winning!" She started counter-attacking Zach and I smirked at how sexy she was while doing it. "O heavenly spirits, give me the power to knock out this demon before me." She started glowing green and then she shouted while , "Vernièr!"

"Not bad for a human." I went over to Alison. I knew Vergil couldn't bring himself to hurt Alison. I slashed through her then she turned around and sent me flying. Her eyes were bloody red and she was holding a katana that was black and looked like a shadow. "No way! It passed through her?!" I groaned and she was facing me now. "The ritual may be incomplete but the mind control is effective!"

"How are we going to beat her? Vergil can't hurt her."
