Chelsee's POV
I shut the door and leaned my back to it. I can't believe I just agreed to go out with my niece's teacher. I'm such an idiot. Maybe I shouldn't go tomorrow. She might have issues at school and I shouldn't be dating someone for their sake. Having someone like that right now wouldn't be very good for the kids.
"Oh my gosh! Where do you think he'll take you?" Skylar called out from the middle of the stairs.
"Skylar, what have I told you about spying on people. Also I'm not going to go." She gave me a confused look.
"You just told him that you'll go."
"A person can change their mind." I shrugged at her and I walked towards the stairs.
"Aunt Chelsee do not tell me your not doing this because of us. We just told you yesterday that you should really start dating again. Mr. Hamilton is a really nice guy. At least just go on one date." She was practically begging me.
"Why do you want me to go out with him so badly?" I said as I stopped at the top of the stairs. She sighed and came up next to me at the top of the stairs.
"Cause he told me he liked you."
"He told you that! When?" Why on earth would he do that. That is unprofessional.
"Today, but just listen to me. I pretty much forced it out of him." I raised my eyebrow at her. "I told him that he should ask you out. I kind of also told him I'd help him." Both my eyebrows shot up.
"Skylar I get you want me to date. Listen to me now when I say this. Stay out of it." I turned away from her and started to walk down the hallway. I couldn't believe her.
"Declan and I just wanted to help you be happy. I know your not happy aunt Chelsee. You can't hid it from me." I turned back to her as I reached my door.
"Declan was in on it too?" She nodded. "I'm going to need some time Skylar. The fact you two were trying to medal in my love life really pisses me off. I don't want to hear another word about it." I stepped in my room and shut the door. As I walked over to my bed and pulled down the covers I could hear Skylar crying. I felt bad, really I did, but she needs to realise that she shouldn't have done that. Clint also shouldn't have agreed to it either.
Clint's POV
I woke up with a smile on my face. I was so ready for this date today. I decided that I'd take her on a horse ride up by my grandpa's cabin and then have a picnic up by the lake. Then I thought I'd just wing it after that.
I had everything ready and decided it was time to go pick her up. I have never been so nervous in my life. I arrived on the lane where the restuarant was. I rounded the buidling and made it to the front of the house. I noticed Skylar and Declan were both on the porch when I pulled up. Skylar looked up and I noticed it looked like she had been crying. I quickly got out and headed towards the house.
"Skylar what's happened? Are you alright?" She shook her head and looked up at me.
"She knows."
"Who knows what?" I was way confused.
"Aunt Chelsee knows that we tried to help you." My eyebrows shot up. "She was so upset with me last night. She hasn't talked to Declan or I all day." Tears slid down her face and right then I felt like a complete ass.
