I finished eating my breakfast in record time and then washed my plate before going to grab my phone, hoodie and my black and white Vans, before going outside and exploring a bit of the area.

I slowly made my way around to the back of the house to see a garden, it had the stone wall around it like how the front of the house did. In the garden there were trees, flowers and a small pond from what I could see, were I was.

I decided that I was going to go and explore the forest that was behind the garden, I've always loved forests. The way the branches twirl together and the light filters through them in streaks, the hidden things you can find in them and the peaceful and relaxing feel about them.

When I was younger my dad would drag Rob and me out the house every Sunday and take us on a walk. We would go to forests, waterfalls, up mountains and even in caves on odd occasions. Mum would love it she would always say how much house work she got done and how she didn't have to deal with any arguing from Rob and me. Dad would also say how much he loved it, that he could spend the whole day with his kids and as much as Rob and me hated to admit it we liked them a little bit too.

I slowly made my way down the garden, taking in the bright, colourful flower, they were all different colours. There was red, yellow, white, pink, purple and many more. there were apple trees, pear trees, plum trees and I think I even saw a cherry tree. There was also other trees which didn't grow anything, I think they were oak. The deeper into the garden I got, the more flowers, bushes and trees were growing.

At the end of the garden in front of the gate was a pond, although it had murky water you could just make out moving orange/gold blobs and I knew they were goldfish. I used to have gold fish, I had three. Peter, Polly and their son Paul although I couldn't tell which one was which. The pond had lily pads and tall grass type of stuff in it and there were dragonflies flying around the top. I could just tell that I would love to come and sit here when I wanted to get away from everyone.

I slowly walk around the pond, looking to see what animals I could find. I reached the small black metal gate and tried to pull it open, only to find it wouldn't open! I tried again pulling as hard as I could to open it but it still didn't open.

"Ugh!" I groaned out loud.

After one more try at pulling the gate I leaned against it to try and catch my breath, only to feel myself falling forward. I screamed but only for it to be muffled by the dirt and dead leafs that filled my mouth. Of course! The gate was a push gate and I decided to pull it, that was so typical of me!

I spat the leafs and dirt out of my mouth before quickly standing up and brushing the dirt of me and the looking around to find that nobody had seen that embarrassing moment. Once I confident enough that no one had saw I pushed the gate forcefully shut and started to make my way into the forest with my head held high and acted like nothing had happened.
