Fear || klance

Dinner went by in a blur. Everyone was on edge, but everyone managed to at least say something except me. I didn't want to eat my food, but I choked it down anyways to not bring attention to myself.

I was the first one out, I couldn't decide if I wanted to train or curl up in my room and cry.

"Keith!" Someone shouts, I flinch at the voice and my dream washes over me again.

I turn to see Lance running towards me with a big cheesy grin, it slowly fades As he sees my expression. "Are you okay?" He asks gently.

"Y-yea," I stutter "just don't say my name like that." He looks confused but doesn't question my request.

"So where are you headed?"

"My room." I decide.

He locks his arm with mine, "Let me walk you." He states with a smile that could only be described as genuine.

"O-okay." I stammer, feeling my face turn bright red.

The trip felt way to short, I couldn't speak and he hummed.

"You have arrived at your destination." He pretends to tip his imaginary hat.

"Thank you kind sir, how do I repay you?"

Lance then looks nervous and hugs me. My heart rate doubled. The blush on my face deepens. Lance seems to notice and smirks.

"Goodnight." Confidence runs through his voice.

"Y-yea." I say and quickly close the door with my back to it. I slowly slid down it.

"What have I done." I whisper.

I head down the hall with one thing on my mind.

He blushed.

I smile, but then it is quickly interrupted.

"I know it's hard but it will strengthen voltron!" The voice I recognize is Alluras.

"Did you not see Keith?" Shiro asks with anger thick in his voice.

"Look, I know it's hard to see him like that but if he's like that tomorrow then I'll stop it, okay?"

I couldn't just listen any more, I enter the room. "Allura do you know what he has a nightmare about?" I ask annoyed.

"I- uh, no." She looks down.

Shiro sighs, "I'll give you one more time but if it happens again, no more." He seems relaxed but you could tell the statement was a threat. You could tell he really cared about Keith.

"Okay." She says happily, and goes back to what she was doing.
