Fear || klance

At this point I was wondering if Hunk was lying, but knowing Hunk, he wouldn't. So if there was a change of plans then it was after he told me.

But as my thoughts began to spiral, I heard someone enter the chamber.

"Hi Shiro." Allura says in her normal voice. "Ready to get out?"

I sighed. "More than anything." The sound of my cage door opening was like music to my ears. Then I try and use my hands to get myself up, but I stumble.

"Shiro!" Allura cries out. "Are you okay?"

I try to laugh it off. "Yea, I just haven't used my legs in a while."

"Oh." Her hand falls to her side. "Do you need help?"

"Nah." I take a few steady steps. "I think I got it."

I had got so used to being in the prison it was weird to see the castle walls again.

"So do you want to see everyone again?" She asks fondly.

"Um sure, but does everyone else want to see me again?"

"For the most part yes, the team needs there leader."

I noticed the breaths I was taking in were faster and shorter.

"Hey Keith, are you okay?" Apparently, I wasn't the only one who noticed.

I sigh. "I don't know." I rub my arm.

Lance hugs me from behind, and I can feel my face relax as my fears seem to float away.

"What's wrong?" He whispers in my ear, and my body goes numb.

"I think I'm afraid to see Shiro again." I manage threw a blush.

"I was going to ask why, but I would be too in your situation." He mumbles into my shoulder.

I giggle. "Thanks Lance that really helped, and you should probably get off me knowing what happened last time though." I say sadly.

"But I don't want to." Lance pouts resting his chin on my shoulder.

"I know, but I don't want you to get attacked."

Lance scoffs and gets up. "Attacked? I can take on Shiro no problem." He flips his hair.

I snort at this. "He has a bionic arm."

He lays his hand on his chest. "It ain't got nothing on me."

It takes all of my strength to keep myself laughing so hard I cry.

"Hey you two need to calm down I can hear footsteps." Pidge hisses at us implying for us to look serious and to not be all over each other.

Sadly I take a few steps away from Lance, but badly wanting his arms to be wrapped around me.

I see Allura enter the room and she has a hand on Shiros back, I didn't know why but then I looked at Shiro.

His white floof was dirty and was tangled into a knot. He was slumped over and had large bags under his eyes. He looked worse then he did when we saved him from the garrison.

We all stared at Shiro for a while, then we looked around to see if anyone would speak up.

Finally Shiro spoke up, "I'm sorry team." He looks at the floor. "Especially Lance, Allura, and Keith." When he looks up again he has tears in his eyes. He looked so fragile in that moment I couldn't stand it. "I should have accepted you Keith and I didn't and for that I don't expect you to forgive me, but know I'm truly sorry."

In all of the time I've known him, I have never seen him show this much emotion.

Then I see everyone turn their eyes to me. Then I feel my cheeks and they are wet. I didn't even know I was crying.

Almost instinctively, I run to him giving him an emotional embrace. "I forgive you." I whisper in his ear.

I can feel his body losen as he hears my words.

"Aw, group hug!" I hear Hunk yell then I feel an arm around me.

I giggle and then I see Lance opposite of me, he winks and I can feel my cheeks heat up.

Finally Pidge joins in and I hear her mumble. "You guys are losers."

We all stay here for a while not wanting to let go.

It was nice to have the family back together.
