I slam my door. My breathing is uneven.

I can't see him die again.

My thoughts were interrupted by a knock at the door.

"Keith?"

Lance.

"Dude come on, open up." My hand reaches for the knob. It takes a while to open because of my shaking hands.

He was fidgeting with his fingers. His head shoots up, then stares at me with his ocean eyes.

"Yes Lance?"

"Oh um, Allura said you don't have to do the test if you don't want to."

They're babying me.

I take a deep breath. "No, I'm doing it."

"Are you sure?"

"It will help the team, right? Help voltron?"

"Well um, I guess."

"Then I'll do it."

Alluras hand held her chin firmly. She didn't understand why Keith had reacted so badly compared to everyone else. She had gone back and checked the system a few times and compared Keith's to the others, but nothing was different.

"Allura?" Coran asks, worry tinged in his voice.

"Oh! Coran!" She says turning away from the machine.

"What are you doing?"

She stares at the machines. "I was seeing if there was anything wrong with Keith's chamber."

"Is there?"

"That's the weird thing, they are all exactly the same."

"Hmm are you sure?"

"Well from the looks of it, yes, but if Pidge looked it might be different."

"Yes well we don't have time for that, the paladins are here."

Lance had a hold of my arm and wouldn't let go. I didn't know if it was for support or if he was actually scared.

"Enter your rooms, paladins."

My heart was beating out of my chest. I open the door without second guessing myself.

"Lay down on the table, and the sequence will begin." An automated voice says.

Hesitantly, I follow its directions.

"Stay calm, then after think about why you have this fear."

Then I feel myself drift off.

My eyes flutter open. Then my body is in unrealistic pain. I then start screaming. Finally I look down at my body.

Purple.

It started on my hand and it quickly spread up my arm. I can't breathe and my hands start twitching. My ears are ringing and I can barely hear myself.

Not long after, my whole body was purple, but now I also had fangs, yellow eyes, and giant ears. After looking at myself fully, I gasp.

I'm galra.

I exit my room and look for something or someone.
