"Morning Baby. Time to get up" Dad's voice rung in my ears.

I groaned. "5 more minutes." I mumbled, pulling a pillow over my head which was just as quickly pulled off.

"Kendall Nova." He warned.

"Inconsiderate Father." I sassed.

He pulled the covers off, fed up. I felt a smack land on my rear and I shot up, growling. "I'm up I'm up, no, need to be an a......."

By the looks of Dad's face, It was wise that I did not finish that um, compliment.

"I'm making breakfast, go wake Desi up please. I have something to tell you girls that I think you might like." He said while walking out of my room.

What in the world? I wanted to know.

"Dad wait! Just tell m-" He closed the door. "JERK." I said loudly as he turned the knob.

"You don't want me coming back in there Kendall." I heard him say. Ugh. Why can't he just tell me now?

I took the briefest shower ever, tied my hair in a messy bun and put on a cropped hoodie, maroon ripped jeans and maroon Adidas.

Matchy matchy. I snapchatted my outfit and Lex sent me a page flames and heart eye emojis. He's so frikkin cute. I love him with the L word.

Time to wake up demon- I mean Desi. She's not the most pleasant to get up nor the most motivated to actually get up, but I can't say to much about that. I feel her pain.

But I have a plan. I busted into her room. "DESI GET UP LEX AND DENVER COMING!!"

"Five more min- WAIT WAIT?" She got up so quick she fell off the bed onto the floor. I fought so hard to not laugh my butt off. "YES THEY'RE WAITING FOR US YOU HAVE 10 MINUTES!"

She frantically ran to her bathroom, taking her pajamas off on the way and not even shutting her bathroom door.

I went downstairs still trying to breathe from laughing so hard.

"What's so funny?" Dad asked suspiciously.

"Oh nothing." I said in a singsong voice.

"You better not have done something bad. Did you prank Desi or something?" He handed me a bowl of strawberries and blueberries, squinting at me.

"I didn't do anything bad I swear. I just gave her a little motivation to get down here quicker.  You'll see." I nonchalantly shoved a strawberry in my mouth.

Sure enough, not even 10 minutes later Desi ran down the staircase, huffing and puffing.

"Where are they?" She asked, looking around.

I chortled, nearly snorting my coffee. "April fools." She stared at me and realization hit her.

"It's not even April you little b-tch." She angrily spun around and tried to walk past Dad out of the kitchen.

"Desiree you had better get your ass back in here now." He commanded. She paused, and then sulkily sat in the kitchen chair farthest from me. I rolled my eyes. What a baby.

"Desi calm down. It was a joke that lasted ten minutes." I said. I didn't care anyway. She was acting petty.

"You could have just told me to get up!" She yelled.

"Lower your voice Desiree and stop swearing. It's not even 9 am and you're already on thin ice." Dad said sternly.

"If I hadn't told you that you wouldn't have even gotten up for at least 20 more minutes so this was just to expedite the process. Dad has something to tell us?" I looked at him pointedly.
