I hadn't seen any of my friends all day, I saw Zane once before school started but he walked off as soon as he saw me. I had shaken my head unsure of why he had done that and continued.

Now I was about to leave the school and I hadn't had the chance to talk to anyone, and it was Friday already, I was hoping to exchange phone numbers with my friends so we could talk over the weekend but it doesn't look like that's gonna happen.

I had been able to get Aphmau's number before I had left her house earlier but I really wanted to get Zane's and Garroth's maybe even those girls Katelyn and Kawaii~Chan. I guess I would have try and find them next week.

I walk down the school steps when I spot Zane and he seems to be fighting with Katelyn. A boy with blue hair looking a bit younger then Katelyn stood next to them looking uncomfortable.

"Hey Katelyn, hey Zane." I say running over to them. "Oh hey Allison." Katelyn says turning her attention away from Zane who doesn't acknowledge me, or at least he pretends not to though I can see him looking at me.

"What's going on?" I ask looking at Zane who just keeps his arms crossed. "It was nothing." Katelyn says and I shrug. "Well okay, uh, anyways, I don't believe I've met you." I say looking at the boy with blue hair, he almost looked exactly like Katelyn.

"This is my little brother Kacey." Katelyn says with a smile but before I can reply I notice Zane start walking away. "Wait! Zane, I mean I don't know if you have a phone but if you do can I have your number, since we're friends and stuff." I say and he gives me a weird look.

"Why would I give you my number?" He asks and I sigh. I ignored my tail which moved back and forth slowly as I was irritated. "Because, we're friends and I wanted to be able to text you and stuff, so maybe we could hang out and talk about homework." I say.

"I don't need anyone's help with my homework." He says and I suppress my werewolf urge to growl. "Look, Zane, I think that you're pretty cool, so I thought if we had each other's numbers we could get to know each other better." I say with a smile but he just rolls his eyes.

"I'm not giving you my-" He begins but I cut him off my using the puppy dog eyes I get from my mom. He looks at me for a moment and after a couple seconds of hesitation he gives in. "Fine, but don't go texting me in the middle of the night." He says and I smile.

We quickly exchange numbers and I tell him goodbye. He ended up giving me a slight wave before heading off, though I feel like he was smiling under that mask. I run back over to Katelyn and Kacey putting my phone back in my bag as I go.

"What was that about?" Katelyn asks and I smile. "I was just exchanging numbers with Zane." I say and she frowns. "Are you two friends or something?" She questions and I shrug. "I guess I mean he seems kinda closed up and stuff but I'm sure he just needs some friends." I say.

"Look, no offense but Zane isn't someone you really want to be friends with." She says with a roll of her eyes. I raise an eyebrow but just shrug it off. "Well, we'll see what happens, oh, I wanted to ask if I could have your number so we can text and stuff."

"Okay, thanks again for giving me Kawaii~Chan's number." I say as I talk to Aphmau on the phone. I was just watching some TV since it was Saturday and my parents wouldn't be home for a while. "No problem, you seem really cool and Kawaii~Chan loves meeting new people." She says and I smile. I'm about to say something when I hear my phone vibrate mid call.

"Hold on Aphmau, in getting a text message, can I call you back in a minuet?"
"Sure, talk to you later." The phone call ends and I look at my texts messages. It was a text from Zane of all people. I hadn't really expected him to text me first since he didn't seem super keen on being friends with me.

Zane: I need help with some homework

I look at the text surprised since the only class me and Zane had together was Chemistry and he usually seemed fairly good at that, I mean he wasn't fantastic but he seemed like he understood and got everything, he was pretty bad at potions though. Plus he had told me before that he didn't want people's help with homework. Well whatever the reason hanging out with Zane is better then sitting alone all afternoon.

Allison: Sure, let me get my books and I'll be over in a bit so we can have a study party!

Zane: Wait! No!

Allison: To late the study party is already planned, I'll be over in a few.
