The New Girl (An Aphmau Fanfiction)

Chapter 2

"So what did you need? Your schedule in guessing?" She says with a stern smile and I nod. "Yes, I just need my schedule and then I'll be on my way to class." I say and she gives a small nod of her head. "Alright, here you are then," she says handing me my schedule and I stand up to leave but she continues. "there will be a bunch of booths for clubs after school ends, if you would like to join any." She says and I smile. "Sounds cool, I'll be sure to check it out, thank you ma'am." I say and head for the door. I exit her office with a sigh and look at my schedule.

"Okay, so I have chemistry in ten minuets." I say as I scan my schedule. I walk down a few halls and ask a couple students for directions and pretty soon I reach the door to the chemistry lab. I check my watch and see that the class starts and three minuets. I step inside and see four or five other students already in their seats.

I look around and spot a girl with orange hair, a boy with blonde hair and a couple other students. I sit in between the boy with blonde hair and the girl with orange hair. "Hi my names Allison, I'm new here." I say to the boy with blonde hair. He smiles at me. "Nice to meet you Allison, my names Garroth." He says with a smile and I smile back.

"My names Lucinda." The girl with the orange hair says and I smile at her. "Hi, in guessing you heard but I'm Allison, it's nice to meet you Lucinda." I say and the girl smiles. I look toward the front of the class and watch a few students head in and take there seats before class starts. I suddenly see the boy from earlier with the hair over his eye.

"Hey, do you know who that is?" I ask Garroth pointing to the boy and Garroth laughs a little. "That's my baby brother Zane, why?" He asks back and I shrug. "These two boys were making fun of him and I stood up for him but he just rolled his eyes, or eye and walked away." I say and nods. "Sounds like Zane, and I wouldn't try making friends with him, he's not really social." He says and I give him a questioning look.

"Well I'm sure he's not that-" I begin to say before in cut off by the teacher clearing his throat to get our attention. "Please quiet down everyone, its time for class to start." He says and begins to explain some stuff. I look over at Zane who had taken a seat in the back and watch him for a second as he watched the teacher. I quickly look back at the teacher and begin taking notes.

6 Hours Later

I step out of my final class and walk out the main doors. I'm about to leave when I remember the club, festival, thing the principal told me about. I walk to the back of the school where I see about fifteen or twenty booths set up. I walk around looking at them when I spot Garroth talking to some boy with brown hair. "Hey! Garroth right?" I say and he smiles turning to me. "Hey, you enjoying the school so far Allison?" He asks and I smile. "Yeah it's pretty nice, and I don't believe I've met you." I say turning to the boy with brown hair and he smiles.

"Hello, it's nice to meet you Allison, my names Laurence." He says and I smile. "Well it's lovely to meet you both, I hope to see you around again but I'm gonna go look at the different clubs, see ya later." I saw with a smile and I wave to them as I head off to look at a booth.

After a few minuets I decide to sign up for theatre club, werewolf club and Art Club. I'm about to leave when I spot Zane standing alone looking at me. I walk over to him and his gaze moves to something else. "Uh hey, I saw you looking at me, I was talking to your brother Garroth and he told me your name was Zane, though I kinda guessed that from before." I say with a smile but he just makes a grunting noise and looks away from me.

"Hey, look. I just wanna be friends okay." I say and he shakes his head. "Why would I want to be friends with you?" He says and I shrug. "I don't know, you just kinda looked lonely and I'm new so I was hoping to make some new friends and you looked pretty cool. But if you don't wanna be friends that fine, I'll just be off." I say and begin to walk towards my car.

"Wait," I hear from behind me. "Yeah?" I say turning to see Zane behind me. "I guess I can give this friend thing a try." He says and I smile. "Cool! I'll see you tomorrow." I say and wave goodbye to him but he keeps his arms crossed. I shrug and run to my car. Today was a pretty good first day of school.
