Chapter 8: Birthday With Bangtan

Taehyung notices my breathing start to become unsteady and he rests his chin on my shoulder.

"What's wrong beautiful?" He says in my ear.

I force myself to calm down so Taehyung doesn't worry too much. Who knows what he would do to Jungkook if he knew he was giving me a hard time.

"I'm alright Tae, I think I swallowed a bug."

He laughs in my ear and kisses my cheek.

"Alrighty." He says as he stands up straight.

"Hey, (y/n), you never told us when your birthday is. I'd love to celebrate with you!" Hoseok asks.

"Actually, I turn 18 tomorrow, even though I just graduated my Junior year. I started school late." I say.

They all look at me and scream in excitement.

"We have to have a party. 18 is a very special number." Namjoon says like he's an insane party planner.

"Sounds super fun guys! I've never had a legit birthday party. It was more like a casual night with cake."

They all look at me like they've just seen me half naked.

Well Taehyung has but we don't talk about that.

"We will make sure that it's the most fun you've ever had. Trust us, we know how to party." Jin says excitedly.

"Damn right." Yoongi adds.

"Can't wait!" I say.

"I'll talk with the boys later and we'll figure out something special." Namjoon says nodding his head.

I smile and look over at Taehyung.

"Are you ready to go oppa?"

I hear his heart start to beat fast and he nods. All the boys chuckle at his beet red face and Taehyung gently punches Jimin and Namjoon.

Namjoon laughs and mouths, "Goodbye oppa".

Taehyung laughs, shakes his head and opens his car door for me.

I wave to them as we drive away.

We pull up to the familiar golden doors and he looks me in the eyes.

"(y/n), I know we only met a few days ago, but I've already fallen head over heels. Everything about you is perfect. Never forget that." He says as he helps me out of the car and kisses me slowly.

"You're such a love bug Kim Taehyung." I say as he finally lets go.

He puts his hands on his face and crinkles his nose.

"An adorable love bug." I say as I start to walk into the hotel.

"Sleep tight (y/n)." Taehyung waves.

I wave back and head inside.

I am finally reunited with my cozy bed and I flop onto it immediately.

I wonder what the boys are planning for me? They claimed to be amazing party planners.

I wake up and my phone is ringing continuously. Taehyung is calling me.

It's 5 am, what is so important?

I pick it up and he starts rambling immediately.

"(y/n)! Finally you picked up! Anyway, happy birthday beautiful! I'm outside of the hotel now. I need to drive you to your first surprise. Do you trust me?"
