Chapter 2: Feels Like a Million Dollars

What could he mean by 'boys that would want to meet me'? I thought. My dad is usually the type of dad that wouldn't let their daughter breathe near a boy. They must be pretty special.

Dad says that we will be there for a few weeks, so naturally that means that I won't pack much. I grab a few t-shirts, pants, shorts, undergarments, a sweatshirt, and my toiletries. I grab my passport on the way out of the door and lock it behind me.

Dad and I walk through security and rush to our flight. We barely make it as we sit down in our seats. Typical
(y/l/n) family behavior.

I put on my headphones and basically ignore Dad as I drift off to sleep. I already knew that Korea will be so much better than Lakeview.

I jump as the plane lands and almost slap Dad in the face. He laughs at me and flicks my forehead.

"Stop being so jumpy and lets go." Dad laughs as he unbuckles his seat belt and grabs his overhead.

I nod in agreement and we leave the plane.

I pick up my bag at the baggage claim and Dad and I head for the cabs.

"Ok (y/n), we are going to a hotel right near BigHit, where Jeon Cho works. He has a pretty big role there." Dad says as we walk. BigHit rings a bell somehow.

Dad taught me Korean when I was young because we used to visit Korea to see Jeon Cho all the time. But I've never been to BigHit. Dad says Jeon Cho was employed a few years ago.

The cab ride was smooth, but long. We arrive in Seoul and we take our luggage out of the back.

"Here we are!" Dad says as he points at a very fancy hotel. "Jeon Cho payed for us to stay here. Make sure you thank him, it was wicked expensive."

"I would imagine." I say full of awe at the golden entrance.

A man, just about as tall as me, says that Jeon Cho has been expecting us, and he took our bags off our hands and showed us to the elevators. He says that we have the pent house to our selves for the next few weeks and I couldn't help but let my jaw drop.

The elevator door opens and the butler steps aside. "Welcome to the dream room."

The room was bigger than my house back in Lakeview. As you walk in, a sheet of glass divides the living space and the kitchen. The living area has 3 full couches and a ginormous tv. A waterfall slides gently out of the wall near the tv and stretches across the room. Next to the kitchen there's a door, which leads to the balcony. Lawn chairs spread across the balcony and line the huge pool. Not to mention all 5 of the luxurious bedrooms.
