Chapter 17: Wonderland

I am startled awake by something shaking my bed.

I crack my eyes open and Taehyung is hovering inches above me.

"Good morning, (y/n)! We're going out today. Get dressed because we are leaving to explore in 20 minutes!" Taehyung says while continuously jumping on my bed.

"Well I'm assuming that you're doing better." I laugh and stretch my arms.

"Better than ever." He says as he gives me a quick peck on the lips before leaving the room.

I blush lightly to myself and stand up.

Hey, my knees don't feel like crap.

I remove the bandages and see the scars that the gashes left.

"That's very unflattering." I scowl to myself.

I rummage through the old black suitcase to find something to wear.

Shortly after, I am fully dressed and ready to go.

I walk out of my huge bedroom and see all 7 of the boys waiting in the lounge.

"There she is! Ready to go?" Hoseok spots me.

"Yes I am." I smile.

"I thought we could all go see the temples just outside of the city." Namjoon says as we all crowd into the elevator.

"I heard the village down there has a very traditional Japanese atmosphere. Things like small shops and narrow streets. Definitely a lot of green also." Jin says wispily.

"Whoah, I can't wait!!" Jimin coos.

Yoongi still seems embarrassed from last night. He keeps to himself in the corner of the elevator while everybody else talks to each other.

"Are you doing alright Yoongs?" I ask lowly.

"I don't remember what happened after the cheese puffs, but Jin hyung told me what I said to you. I sincerely apologize. I don't think I'll ever drink again." Yoongi holds his head.

"Hey it's all good. It was very fun last night. Thanks again for holding a party for me." I gently elbow him.

He smiles and nods.

The elevator door finally opens and we head out on our adventure.

The van pulls up to a cobblestone street, decorated with lanterns and lights.

The village is surrounded by huge green hills and tall bamboo trees. Ancient Japanese architecture is seen wherever you look. The air is slightly foggy and smells of fresh food close by.

"We should see the temples first before they become crowded with tourists." Namjoon announces.

We all agree and follow him down the tight pathway.
