The only reason (Muke)

This one is requested by @2punkrock4you. She requested a Muke based on their song "The only reason", I hope you like it hun :-) and you all should check her stories because they are all sooo amazing! No lie!

And I'm sorry if this sucks... I'm not really good at interpreting a song but I do my best!

Things have been pretty.... tense, this past few weeks in the 5SOS household.

The source of the problem?

Michael and Luke break up.

Why?

That, is the question that everyone been asking.

To explain things up, maybe we should head back a little bit.

(Flashback)

When you think of a perfect couple, Muke would probably cross your mind.

Both boys love each other very much and they made sure they show it to the world. The number of their PDAs and sweet talks are almost ridiculous.

Ashton and Calum even questioned how they both didn't get diabetes from the amount of sweet talks they did.

But behind the PDAs and sweet talks, things wasn't really going great with the couples.

Almost every night they would fight. It wasn't always about something important, sometimes it's stupid and really pointless, but either ways both boys always have something to fight about.

One day, Michael just couldn't take it anymore. The amount of the fight is overpowering the sweet talks, and Michael grew sick of it so he snapped.

He start to screamed at Luke, and it honestly scared Luke because Michael never snap at him. Sure they've fought, but never like this.

Harsh words start to leave Michael's mouth and Luke could do nothing but cry at his boyfriend's words.

Once Luke's sobs echoes trough the room, Michael brought back to reality. He tried to say sorry but Luke hear none of it as he ran from their shared room and Michael doesn't even have the strength to chase him.

That night, they both have trouble sleeping. They feel suffocated. Michael by the guilt that eating his inside, Luke by the words that left his (ex)lover mouth.

(Back to the present time)

Michael and Luke hasn't talk to each other since that day. Two weeks ago to be exact.

They both ignore each another with all they might.

Michael thought that Luke would never forgive him. He know what he said is rude, and he shouldn't ever said it to anyone. Especially to Luke.

Luke thought that Michael hate him. After all Michael did told him himself in the heat of moment. Everytime Michael looks away from him, his heart breaks all over again.

The two boys doesn't notice how they both broke each other by not saying anything, but their bandmates does. Ashton and Calum would do anything to help them, but they don't know what to do.

Just like every other night, Luke would toss and turn in his sleep. He's having a nightmare of that day, only worse.

(Luke's dream)

"You know what Luke, I don't even know why I agreed to be your boyfriend. You're a clingy, pathetic bastard, that always get jealous for no reason. Fuck you." Michael's words stab him over and over again.

"But Mikey, you know I never.."

"No. Save it. Everytime we fought, you always made it my fault. You always made people to put the blame on me. You're a jerk."

"I don't even know why I would love you now. I hate you Luke. I wish I never be in a relationship with you. I wish I choose someone else other than you. I hate you!" Luke just couldn't take it anymore so he cried harder.

In reality, this is where Michael stops screaming and tried to apologize, but of course it doesn't happen in Luke's dream.

"Fuck you! Stop crying Luke. You're pathetic fag that could only cry when things like this happen. What a baby." Michael sniggers at a crying Luke.

"Listen to me. I regret I ever dated you. If only I choose Ashton or Calum, things would be much better. They're better than you anyways, why did I pick you? I must be really stupid then huh." Michael smirks evilly and Luke does nothing but whimper.

"You're weak Luke. Just die already. I hate you. Ashton and Calum probably hates you too. You're fucking worthless." With that Michael start to throw punch upon punch to Luke's body.

Luke beg for him to stop, but he didn't.

"Michael, please stop, it hurts. I'm sorry Michael. Just please stop. I'm sorry." Luke does his best to shield himself, but Michael's punches just grow stronger.

He keep repeatedly hitting, kicking and screaming at poor Luke. And Luke just keep begging and begging.

But Michael never stops.

(End of Luke's horrible dream)

On the other side, Michael decides he has enough of this and plan on talking to Luke.

He get up from his bed and start to make his way to Luke's room. He contemplate wether or not he knock on Luke's door when he hears Luke start screaming.

Michael took no time to open Luke's door and burst into his room only to meet Luke trashing around his bed. Crying and screaming while he does so.

"Luke! Oi Luke, wake up! Luke!" Michael tried to shake Luke up but he doesn't even stir.

"Luke, baby, please wake up. Shh, you're okay baby, you're fine. Shh, wake up baby." Michael tried once again, and this time Luke's eye shot open.

He scan his room frantically, but his eyes grows even more wide when he sees Michael sitting in his bed.

Luke freed himself from Michael's grip and scoot away from the dark haired boy he used to call his boyfriend. He start to shake as he remembers how Michael beat him up in his dream.

"M-m-m-ikey. W-what a-are you d-doing in here?" Michael heart drops seeing how Luke so afraid of him.

"Luke, I..." Michael try to move closer, but Luke cowers himself in the corner of his room.

"Baby, I'm sorry. I never supposed to say something like that to you. I never hate you Luke. I love you. I love you so much. I'm sorry Luke. I really am." Luke didn't say anything, but he stare at Michael with his big blue eyes. Michael carefully move closer to Luke, and when Luke didn't flinch at his touch, Michael brought Luke in a hug.

"I'm so sorry. I should've talked to you straight away, but I'm afraid that you would never forgive me. I'm sorry that I cause you pain Luke. I never meant to do that." Luke start to sobs in Michael's arms.

"I'm sorry too Mikey. I thought, I thought you hate me."

"No, Luke. I never hate you. I love you so much. You're the only reason why I wake up with a smile, and go to sleep with smile still forming. You're the only reason why I love someone. I love you, okay? I love you so much."

"I love you too Mikey. I love you so much."

"Promise we would never do this again. I don't wanna live without you." Michael look straight into Luke's eyes, making the blonde boy's heart swell with happiness and love.

"I promise you. I don't wanna live without you too Mikey."

And they kiss. A kiss that sealed their promise that they would never be apart with each other.
