Chapter 5; Preparations!

It's a Saturday morning. I can't believe tomorrow is my birthday. I had to go shopping and do other stuffs, but I was still too lazy to get up from bed. My body wasn't in the mood to go out. I felt so weak, probably because I had a hectic day at school yesterday.

"Must-get-up-from-bed" I said to myself. I picked my phone up from my study desk(must have left it there yesterday) and I saw a message from Tracy.
" hey girlfriend, please don't tell me you ain't going out today".
I smiled and replied her text saying " I'm not so sure, I'm really tired". I knew she wasn't going to agree and encourage me to stay at home, but I wanted to get on her nerves anyway.
I got up from bed and walked slowly to the bathroom. I brushed my teeth and had a cold bath. I came out of the bathroom looking refreshed. I walked over to my closet, took a T-shirt and sweatpants. There was no need to makeup, since I wasn't even ready to go out.
*beep beep*- that was my phone. I guess Tracy finally got my message. "Oh boy" I said to myself. I picked my phone only to see that it was a text from an unknown number. I opened and it read" Hey it's Drake, can't wait for the party😉".
For a minute, I stood there, staring at my phone and wondering how he got my number. "Must have been the boys" I said. I ignored his message and decided to text Sean.
Sean has really been acting strange lately. He doesn't talk to me unless I talk to him. I still don't know what's up with him.
"Hey babe"
I waited for about 5minutes or so for his reply but still no reply. I decided to call but his line wasn't going through. It was then I knew that Sean was trying to break up with me.
"No it can't be" I thought
"What if he was really trying to end things between us, No he can't. Sean can't hurt my feelings". Another " beep" from my phone brought me back to Earth. Hoping it was Sean's text, I quickly opened it and saw that Tracy replied my message.
"You have got to be kidding me. Tomorrow is your birthday and you don't wanna go out????. You have to!" She said.
I dropped my phone and went downstairs to check up on my parents. They were not in the sitting room. I checked the kitchen, but they weren't they either. I was hungry so I decided to help myself with two slices of bread and hot tea. After eating, I decided to go back upstairs to check their rooms. I was surprised that when I got up, I heard some sounds coming from the bedroom. It was like they were having sex!. I giggled all the way to the bedroom, only to find that the door was halfway locked. I peeped through the door, and what I saw almost blinded me. "Ewww old people having sex, that's just gross" I said silently. "Why didn't they do this last night??" I continued. I heard someone knock on our door. I knew my parents would come out so I ran away from the bedroom door before they noticed I was there. I went to check who was at the door and it was Allie And Tracy.
"Birthday girl what's up" they both said and they pulled me in a tight hug. Before I could say anything, Tracy shrieked at what I was wearing.
"Seriously sweatpants??
"I don't really feel like going out" I said. Allie dragged me upstairs saying" You nuts!!". They got to my room and they began to search for clothes in my closet.
"This is perfect" Tracy said
"No it isn't" replied Allie
I just sat down in my bed, laughing and watching them quarrel about what I'm gonna wear. It was really nice having the both of them around.
After about 20mins of searching through my closet, they both decided that I was gonna wear something different. I always wear a T-shirt and a pair of jean, but my two crazy best friends wanted me to wear a blue tight gown with " I'm loco" written at the back and a pair of white sneakers. I just had to obey because I wasn't ready to argue with them.
"Guys do you think Sean is gonna dump me?" I said because I became worried.
They both looked at me in a weird way like I was saying something stupid.
"Yeah you're right. He can't dump me" I said.
I applied some makeup. I used an eyeliner, nude lipstick, hair gel, and then I packed my hair in a messy bun. I could tell that I looked beautiful with the way Allie and Tracy looked at me.
"Girls, LETS GO DESTROY THAT SHOPPING MALL!!!!!" I said with energy and Tracy replied saying "That's the Clara we know and love".
We laughed and ran downstairs. My parents were still inside so I just shouted telling them that I'm going out and we left the house.
