Chapter 7 ; The bad boy's text

*beep beep*
*beep beep*
That was the sound of my alarm. I got up from bed and checked the calendar; April 15!. Today is my birthday!!. I couldn't believe it. Today was actually my freaking birthday!

Before I could walk up to the bathroom door, my parents opened the door and they both shouted "Happy birthday my love" I couldn't help but smile and replied with a "thank you mom and dad"
"We have so much planned for you today, just wait and see what we got for you" my dad said.
I knew he was planning something big for me, so I wasn't that surprised. I just smiled and acted like I was really surprised.
I had actually turn 18 today . I'm now an adult 😆

I picked my phone up and saw that I had unread messages on WhatsApp. I knew they were all birthday wishes so I just ignored them. I walked over to my bathroom, turned on the shower and I had a cold bath. It really felt refreshing..

After bathing, I put on my normal clothes and did my normal makeup. I wasn't really ready to dress in my special outfit till it was time to party.

I walked downstairs to see that the sitting room was already decorated with special decorations. I was so surprised. I didn't even know when I tripped down the stairs.
I got up saying " Ouch". I laughed at how clumsy I've become.

"Happy birthday to me" I muttered under my breath.
Allie and Tracy knocked at our door. I went to open the door for them and I saw them arguing about something that I wasn't really sure of. Immediately they saw me, they both shouted" Happy Birthday Clara" . I smiled and said my thank you . they walked inside my house and they we're amazed at how beautiful the decorations were.
"Clara, did you do all this by yourself?" Allie asked
"I wish" I said as I rolled my eyes
"So your parents are responsible?" Tracy said and I nodded. I guess they must be thinking I'm lucky to have such caring parents. I really am!
We sat down on the couch and my parents came downstairs. Allie and Tracy exchanged greetings with my parents and I just sat down, watching TV.

I decided to check the messages on my phone and I received one from Drake. What did he say?
With that anxiety, I opened the message.
"Hey beautiful, Happy birthday. I hope to see you at the party. Hope to feel you"

What???? Does that even make sense? ..."Feel me????" I said out loud.
"What's that" Allie said . I explained to her and they both burst out laughing.
"What's funny? I said angrily.
" maybe he's just pulling your legs or he doesn't mean it that way" Tracy replied.
"I hope your right because I still have a boyfriend" I said
