It all rewinded like a damaged tape.
Screeching.
Humming.
Murmuring behind my skull.
It all trailed back like a train the moved backward.
Humming.
Hovering.
Slithering down my veins .
It all sounded like an old melody.
Your voice.
Your laughter.
Your stories.
Your past.
My lost heart
had hammered again.
And I wasn't able to stop it.
My feelings kept
on coming back.
Like my life was not
even mine.
My heart was beating
for you.
Like my heart itself
was not even mine.
I still love you ,
I must
say.
The feelings keep on coming back.
The songs continued to
send pain in my heart.
Your voice .
Your smile.
It all
flashed back.
Like I
