"Basically he likes you." Jason sighs.

"He's only just met me how can he like me?" I laugh.

It's kind of impossible and weird for someone to like you as soon as they meet you. That only happens in chick flicks and romantic comedys.

Right?

"Do you not remember him?" Jason asks as he gets into the car which I soon after follow.

"No... am I meant too?" I ask as I do my seatbelt.

Safety first kids.

"You met him when we were like 9. I was playing soccer with him in my back yard and you came and got smacked in the face with the ball." Jason laughs.

"No wonder I forgot about him."

"As soon as you left he said you looked like a princess."

"A princess?" I laugh.

"Yeah well what do you expect we were 9 we diddn't exactly call girls 'hot'." Jason laughs.

"I wasn't born a asshole just saying." Jason smiles as he starts to drive.

A few minutes later we pull up at my driveway and he walks out opening the door for me.

"Thanks." I smile as I walk out of the car.

"Do you want to come in?" I ask as I get out my key from my bag.

"No it's okay. I mean I want to but I have to go and talk to Alex. He moved from England to California yesterday so I have to go talk to my aunt." Jason says rolling his eyes.

"Okay I'll see you tomorrow." I smile.

He kisses me on the cheek and quickly runs to his car whilst waving and laugh as he trips over.

I roll my eyes at his stupidicy and walk into my house and sigh.

You don't understand how much it sucks to walk into a house and have no one there. Or the sound of you're mom cooking in the kitchen and you're dad in the living room on the phone to his boss.

"Chad? Mark? Are you guys home?" I call as I throw my bag onto the sofa.

But I mean I'm greatful. At least I have 2 idiotic brothers to keep me company.

"Yeah we're just in the kitchen." Chad shouts.

I walk upstairs into my room and quickly change into some comfortable clothes and find my brother's playing catch with my bag.

"Oh by the way there's someone at the door for you Becca." Mark says as he throws my bag at Chad.

"Also it's a guy." Chad smirks as he wiggles his eyebrows.

"A very hot one." Mark adds.

I ignore their comments and swing open the front door to find Alex standing there with a bunch of books in his hands looking extremly tired.

"What are you doing here?" I ask.

"Hey Becky." Alex smiles completly ignoring my question as he walks in.

I close the door and follow him to the living room and stand in front of him to stop him.

"What are you doing here? How did you even know I live here?" I exclaim.

"It's pretty obvious because I remember that you lived on the same street as us. And it's unforgettable that you're house is also bright blue." Alex laughs as he puts his books down on the kitchen counter.

"You have to help me study remember? Turn me into a good student or whatever."

"I never agreed to it though." I snap.
