Chapter 21

"Hey there you are." Jason smiles as he makes his way over to me.

"Where have you been?" He asks as he leans against the lockers.

"I had to go to Alex's place and wake him up. Principle Walkers basically forcing me." I sigh.

"Principle Walker?" He repeats as he takes his back off the lockers.

"Uncle fucking Walker?"

"What's he making you do." Jason says icily.

"He's just making me make sure Alex dosn't get expelled and that he actually graduates from this school. He told he he would get me a scholarship to the university I want so I just... agreed?"

He stares at me for a while and closes his eyes and lets out a deep sigh. Did I do something wrong? I'm guessing I did because he's extremely frustrated.

"Did I do something wrong?" I ask.

"No. No you didn't... I'm going to go talk to Principle Walker for a bit I need to clear some things with him." He smiles. But his frown starts to shine under his smile.

Clear what things up?

Is he jealous?

He kisses me on the cheek and starts to head down the corridor. It'll be fine me doing this with Alex right? It doesn't look weird or anything. This isn't one of those cheesy love romance stories on Wattpad where the guy and the girl end up falling in love. After all I'm only helping Alex for a dang scholarship.

"What are you thinking about?" Anna asks.

"You just randomly appeared in front of me where the fuck did you just come from?"

"I've been standing in front of you for a while now you just didn't notice cause you were deeply thinking about something." Anna huffs.

"Sorry. Don't worry it's nothing." I laugh.

"She says it's nothing so stop bothering her." Cameron shouts as he starts running down the corridor toward us.

Where are all these people coming from. I'm getting really popular nowadays.

Anna rolls her eyes. "I'll see you later okay? I'm going to head to the library I have to finish my Math homework."

"Yeah okay."

Anna starts to walk down the corridor with Cameron following along behind her. "Don't worry Becca I'll make sure she gets to the library safely." Cameron smiles.

Anna nudges Cameron away and he pokes her in the hip and she screams out in laughter and pain.

I smile at them and open my locker.

Maybe, just maybe those two will end up becoming something.

I close my locker and turn around to walk to the school canteen since my stomach wouldn't shut up but then I see Alex heading out the school with his pencil in his hand twirling around.

"ALEX. Where do you think you're GOING?" I shout as I run down to the schools main entrance.

"Chill. I'm just going to my car I left my phone there." He laughs.

"I don't trust you."

"Come with me then?" He smiles.

"Can't I just get it for you?" I sigh.

"Are you serious?"

"No let's just go together." I sigh.

Alex turns to face me and smiles. Wow he's been smiling a lot at me lately and all I've been doing is glaring and frowning.
