Author's Note: Okay, so I took down the old version of this story because, well, I didn't exactly know where it was going and I didn't really like the beginning =P Anyways, here's the new beginning and I hope it's somewhat better! Thanks for reading! -rac06h10ael

-Third Person POV-

"So this is it, Rachael?" She asked her while looking out at the setting sun, "You're just going to leave all of us behind? And everything you worked for?"

"I...I don't have any other choice, Natalie," Rachael replied as she hung her head.

"Yes you do!" Natalie remarked, looking over at her sister, "You don't have to leave. I mean, since when was moving ever an option?"

"Since about a week ago," She replied dismally.

"Fine, so you move. What happens to us? And all of the friendships you've made living here? And what about our YouTube channel?"

"It's time we give that stupid pass-time up..."

Natalie's jaw dropped, "'Stupid pass-time'? What are you talking about?" Rachael looked over at her, "That 'stupid pass-time' is our career, Rachael. And I don't know what the hell's gotten into you, but you need to get your shit together." Rachael just stared at her sister blankly. Natalie rolled her eyes, "Okay. So it's clear you've given up on our dream. But are you going to give up on the guy you really love? Remember him?" She continued, "Are you just going to say he was some 'stupid mistake' and it's time to give him up?"

Rachael gulped, "I never had Anthony to give up..."

"Are you even thinking about what you're saying?" Natalie retorted irately, "Everyone knows you and him were meant to be! And what about that time in New York? And the car crash the two of you got in? And the time when you and Anthony were the parents of Lucy?"

"I never even wanted kids...I was kidding myself, playing mom..."

Natalie smacked her forehead, "You're not getting the point, Rachael. There's too much here just to leave it behind."

"Then what do you want me to do!?!" Her sister shouted at her, "You want me to stay here and watch while everyone lives happily ever after but me?" Natalie didn't say anything, "You've got Ian. Anthony's got Kalel. Toby's got Melanie. Even Joey's got someone!"

"And you've got someone too!" Natalie paused and shook her head in disappointed, "You've got Andrew...crazy and regrettable as that is..."

"He's the only one who makes me happy," Rachael remarked unconvincingly. Natalie knew she was lying. She even knew she was lying. But she was just repeating what Andrew's told her ever night.

Natalie rolled her eyes and rose to her feet, setting down her cooled-down cup of coffee on the table out on the balcony she and Rachael were sitting out on, "Whatever. Rach. I'm going home. And all I have to say to you," She stuck her index finger in her sister's direction, "Is that leaving California is going to be a bad decision. And I just want you to know...that if you decide to change your mind, and I hope you do, I'll be there to support you."

Natalie waited for Rachael to say something, but it was evident that she had nothing to say. Rachael watched as her sister walked out of the apartment, slamming the door behind her. She walked over to the railing of the balcony and looked out at the city she's lived in for about the past five years. Just then, the apartment door opened and in came Andrew.

"Is leaving everything really the answer to my problems, Andrew?" She questioned, not even looking back at him.

He set down his keys and took off his jacket, "Why do you ask?"

"Natalie came over today. Just left, actually," She replied, still not looking back at him, "And she's made me realize something." She turned around, "There's too much here for me to leave behind."

"You're not leaving it behind, you're just...moving on," He retorted, approaching his girlfriend and wrapping his arms around her back, pulling him close to him, "You're always telling me how sad you are. You're always telling me you don't like the place you're in anymore." He grinned, "A new start away from all of this is going to make you happy again," He grinned, "Because I'm the one who makes you happy."
