-Kalel's POV-
I was sitting at my desk, the same desk where things started going wrong, working on a new sketch. Joey was sitting on my bed, looking at my previous sketches that he asked to look at.
"These are really good, Kalel," He commented.
"Thanks," I murmured in response as I began tapping my pencil. I wasn't able to concentrate. It was hard enough dealing with the loss of my unborn child. And Joey being here and over my shoulder trying to spark conversations with me didn't help at all. He just brought up the past - the thing I tried to leave behind by coming here.
"California's not the same without you," He then said. I rolled my eyes as the pace I was tapping my pencil at sped up. "I want you to come back home, Kalel."
"I can't come back!" I snapped at him, throwing my pencil down and rising to my feet and spinning around to face him, "Joey, I couldn't stand being there anymore! Do you not understand that?" I paused for a slight second, as if I wanted him to give me an answer. But it was rhetorical, and I continued, "When I got the invitation to Fashion Week here in Milan, I...I couldn't help but jump at it. My life in California...it wasn't what I wanted. I wanted a family. With Anthony. But I had to be stupid and sleep with someone else and get pregnant," I was getting louder and louder with each sentence I spoke. "Not once, but twice! The second time with his best friend!" I crossed my arms, "But I guess it doesn't matter anymore because it didn't survive..."
"Wait, the baby didn't survive?" He cut me off in a whisper.
"No, it didn't," I said in a much softer tone than my ranting tone, "That's why I was in the hospital."
He rose to his feet and gripped my upper arms gently, "I'm so sorry, Kalel."
I hung my head and said, "It's not your fault..."
He stared at me for the longest time before saying, "Come home, Kalel. I miss you. We miss you."
"But what about Fashion Week?" I croaked.
"You can't possibly do Fashion Week with what just happened." I looked up at him with teary eyes. "Please come home." He pushed a piece of hair that fell out of my bun behind my ear.
I swallowed hard before murmuring, "Okay."
-Rachael's POV-
"Why do you have to gooooo?" Kenya whined as Anthony took his and my bags out to the car he rented to take us to the airport. It's been three weeks since the whole incident with Andrew. Instead of working for the money like I intended, Anthony just forked it over. But I didn't tell Kenya or Sara because I knew if they found out we could leave that soon, they'd probably kill me. So I begged him to give it a few weeks. He agreed after some convincing. The weeks for him were pure torture (according to him), but I loved it - hanging out with my friends, doing the things we used to do...
"Because, guys, my home is back in California," I answered as I crossed my arms over my chest, "I promise I'll keep in touch with you guys, though, okay?"
"That's what you said last time," Sara retorted, "Look what happened. We didn't hear from you for nearly two years."
"I was busy!" I defended myself, "You know, being a YouTuber isn't-"
"I don't care," Sara cut me off. I closed my mouth immediately, "But I swear to you, Rachael, if you don't call us, I will come to L.A. and-"
"We're ready to go, Rach," Anthony said, interrupting my friend's threat. He wrapped his arm around my back and pulled me close to him.
"Okay, just let me say goodbye to my friends," I told him.
"Alright," He kissed me on the cheek and walked away.
"Are you sure you like him?" Sara asked me.
"With all my heart," I answered all cliche-y. Sara rolled her eyes. "I'm really going to seriously miss you guys in California."
"We'll miss you too," Kenya said as she pulled me into a hug. I hugged her back.
"You should come visit sometime. Wait!" I exclaimed, stepping out of the embrace and sticking my hands out in front of me, "You guys have to come! You're going to be bridesmaids in my wedding! And you better come," I stuck my index finger at the two of them.
"This one better not end like the last one," Sara commented. I glared at her. She smirked. I shook my head and started for the door, "Whatever, I'll call you guys when I get there."
"You better!" Sara shouted after me. I rolled my eyes and hopped in the passenger's side of the rental car. Anthony was sitting in the driver's seat, starting the car up.
"You ready to go home?" He asked, glancing over at me. I nodded my head yes. He grinned and pressed down on the gas pedal, sending us forward.
-Natalie's POV-
Ian was out for the day, filming a video for Smosh Games. That left me home alone all day with Lucy. There was something I needed to tell him when he came home. Lucy and I were doing a game of patty-cake when the door clicked open. I looked up and saw Ian walk through the front door.
"Hey!" I greeted as I stood up and kissed him on the cheek, "How was filming?"
"Great! Joven and I lost the game and had to eat this disgusting concoction that the others put together," He walked past me and into the kitchen, "Joven actually threw up. It was great."
"That's awesome. Hey, there's something you and I need to talk about," I told him quite seriously as I followed him in there.
A look of guilt washed over his face as he took in a deep breath and said, "Look, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to take the last of the ice cream. I was just really hungry and..."
"Ian, that's not what we need to talk about," I cut him off, "I...I'm pregnant."
He stared at me for a little bit before barely being able to say, "What?"
I nodded my head, "Yeah. I...I took a test and it came up positive."
"Oh my god!" He exclaimed before picking me up and spinning me around. He set me back down and slipped his hands under my jaw, "This is amazing!" He leaned in and kissed me. "This is great..." He smiled widely. I smiled too.
