-Rachael's POV-

I was in the spare bedroom Kenya and Sara said I could stay in, folding my clothes that I brought and putting them into the drawers. I didn't know how long I was staying. My friends said I had to stay for at least a week, or they would trap Anthony and me in the basement until we agreed to stay. In addition to their threat, I knew I wasn't going to make enough money in a week to get a plane ticket back to California. I laid the pile of clothes in the drawer when, out of the corner of my eye, I saw Anthony appear in my doorway, leaning against the threshold. "Hey."

"Hi," I replied with a quick smile as I walked back over to the bed where my suitcase was open wide.

He walked in and slipped his hands into the pocket on the front of his sweatshirt, "How are you feeling?"

"Just fine," I answered semi-truthfully, picking up more clothes to fold. To be honest, I was still pretty shaken up from what happened not even a few hours ago. It's not everyday you're locked up in a room by your high school crush who turned out to be a complete psycho.

There was a moment of silence before Anthony blurted out, "I'm sorry."

I looked over at him and chuckled, "For what?"

"For everything," He took a step closer to me and took the clothes out of my hands, putting them away for me. I crossed my arms over my chest. "Rach, this wouldn't have happened if..."

"Anthony, this wasn't your fault," I cut him off, "If anything, it was mine. For giving that maniac a second chance."

He spun around so he was facing me, "I just don't want something like this ever happening again."

I laughed as I turned around and zipped up my empty suitcase, "Trust me, neither do I."

"Then marry me."

My eyes widened and I glanced over my shoulder to see Anthony down on one knee, a small, square box in his hands. Inside the box was what looked like a pretty expensive engagement ring. He swallowed hard, "Rachael, ever since I bumped into you in that hallway and you dropped everything, including your phone that blasted your Smosh music, I fell in love with you. I knew it the minute I saw you. And it would mean the world to me if you would marry me."

I stared at him, my back still to him, speechless.

"Rach!" Kenya's voice emanated from downstairs, "Pizza's here!"

"G-Give me a second!" I called back as I turned around and Anthony stood up.

"So what do you say?" He asked.

"I...I don't know what to say, Anthony," I replied as I stared at the ring in disbelief.

"Say you'll marry me," He said softly, "Please."

"You better hurry up, Rachael! By the time you come down here, we are both going to have eaten the pizza by ourselves!" Sara shouted.

"Shut the fuck up!" Kenya replied, followed by a smacking sound.

"Bitch!" Another smacking sound.

"Rachael, I don't want to spend another minute with you not by my side," He added, taking a step even closer to me.

I opened my mouth to say something when I heard footsteps rush up the stairs. I turned my head to see Kenya and Sara now standing in the doorway, staring at Anthony and I with confused looks.

"What's going on here?" Kenya asked as Anthony closed the box and slipped it back into his sweatshirt pocket.

"We were just talking," I answered as I glanced at Anthony briefly before returning my attention to my friends.

“Bull shit, we obviously interrupted something more important than that," Sara said, putting her hands on her hips.

“Were ya’ll about to do it?” Kenya asked, but we had no idea what she was saying, “Ya know the nasty...”

"What? No!" I snapped at her, "Why do you always assume that?"

“I was just making sure. And I don’t always think like that.”

Sara laughed, "Wow, everyone is lying today. First Rachael is saying they’re just talking, and now Kenya refuses to admit she is incredibly dirty minded.” Kenya smacked Sara’s shoulder, cursed underneath her breath, and stormed away. Sara sighed, "Hurry up, you two." And with that, Sara turned around and left.

I looked back at Anthony and saw the confusion on his face. I laughed nervously, "That's my friends, for you."

He chuckled nervously, “Are they going to be okay? Kenya seemed pretty pissed.”

“She'll be fine. She'll just give us the silent treatment for a few minutes, but then everything should be okay.” I replied as I started walking towards the door, but Anthony pulled me back.

“Rachael, you never answered my question," He reminded.

I took in a deep breath and turned so I was facing him, "Anthony, I don't know."

"Why? It's obvious that we both love each other..."

"Yeah. But the last time I got married, I found out my fiance slept with my enemy and got her pregnant."

"Are you scared it's going to happen again?" He inquired with a slight laugh. I crossed my arms over my chest and slightly nodded my head yes, "That won't happen again. I promise." He took a step closer to me so that our noses were almost touching, "Please, Rachael, I love you so much."

"I love you too."

He sighed, "Then let me ask one last time, will you marry me?"

I looked up at his brown eyes for the longest time, my heart pounding against my chest, before smirking and saying in almost an whisper, "Okay, Anthony. I'll marry you."

-Toby's POV- (Author's Note: God, I haven't wrote about him and/or Melanie in forever!)

Melanie was getting ready for the dinner we were going out to tonight. I was in the front room, jittering with nervousness. I'd only done what I was going to do tonight once before, and the last time, things didn't turn out so well.

Melanie appeared at the top of the staircase, wearing a lovely black dress and high heels. Her hair was curled and she had dark red lipstick on. I fixed my tuxedo a little as she made her way down.

"Are you ready?" She asked me.

"Yeah," I replied as I stuck my arm out for her. She slipped her hand through the hole between my side and my arm and linked her arm with mine. The two of us walked out of the house and got in my car. We drove to the fanciest restaurant I could think of.

We walked in and I walked up to the podium, "Reservation for Turner."

The man tapped a few keys on the computer's keyboard and then looked up at me. He grinned and said, "Right this way." He picked up two menus and led us into the crowded dining room. We were seated at a table for two and the waiter poured us the champagne.

"This place is really nice, Toby," Melanie commented as she unfolded the cloth napkin and placed it on her lap. My leg shook nervously, and it started shaking the table. "Are you alright?" She asked me, "I don't think I've seen you this nervous since you met my parents." She knew something was up, I could tell it in the way she talked to me.

"I'm fine," I reassured her, placing my hand over hers on the table. She smiled that smile that told me she knew I wasn't fine. "Ugh, fine." I slipped my hand into my pants pocket and grabbed the small box I bought a few weeks ago. I pulled it out and rose to my feet, only to kneel down on one knee and open the box. Melanie's eyes widened as she brought her hands over her mouth. I grinned, "Melanie, I know we've been together only for months, but I know you're the one I want to spend the rest of my life with. So, will you...?"

"Yes!" She cried before I could finish my question as she jumped out of her chair and slung her arms around my neck, "Yes, Toby."
