-Ian's POV-

I couldn't believe Anthony was here. And I couldn't help but ask, "What are you doing here, Anthony?"

He crossed his arms over his chest, "What are you doing here?"

"Funny story," I chuckled, standing up and crossing my arms over my chest, "When you wouldn't let me stay with you because you never wanted to see me again, I had stay with someone else. And the only people who would let me stay with them were Rachael and Andrew, so...yeah. Now it's your turn to answer my question."

He clenched his jaw before answering, "I just want to talk to Rachael. That's all."

"About what?" Andrew butted in.

Anthony looked over at him, but didn't say anything.

"Well, whatever you want to talk to her about, she's not going to listen. She's been in her room for the past hour, not responding to anyone," Andrew added.

"Well because you're not someone she wants to talk to," Anthony snapped back at him before walking up to Rachael's bedroom door. Andrew stood there in shock. I watched as Anthony knocked twice, "Rachael?" He called before knocking again, "It's me, Anthony. We need to talk."

"See? She's not talking to anyone!" Andrew exclaimed.

That's when Anthony grabbed the doorknob and pushed the door open. Andrew and I followed him in there to see that he was the only one in the room. Her window was opened and the curtains were blowing in the light breeze that passed through. Anthony turned around and said, "She's not here."

"Where could she have gone?" Andrew inquired.

-Natalie's POV-

My sister and I plopped down on the couch in my living room, and she talked to me about what happened after I left for my honeymoon with Ian. She bumped into Andrew again, the two of them started talking, and by some freak chance, he and she started dating again. Everything was going great (supposedly) until a couple of weeks ago, when he brought up moving to New York. This is how she said it went down:

She was sitting on the couch with him, watching some stupid TV show on HGTV (I have no idea why she was watching that, she hated that channel). He leaned over and whispered, "You know, I still have that house in New York."

She looked up at him, "You do?"

He nodded his head before returning his attention to the TV, "Yeah. And there's still the opportunity that you and I could move there..."

Rachael moved away from Andrew. He looked at her in confusion, "What's wrong?"

She laughed, "Andrew, things have changed since then, but...I still don't want to move away."

"Come on, Rach," He pleaded, moving closer to her, "There's too much drama here for you. And your'e miserable here." Her eyes widened in disbelief. "You told me yourself. Anthony and Kalel got back together. Ian and Natalie are married and don't have time for you anymore. Toby and Melanie are together. And even Joey found someone. Meghan was her name, I believe? You're the only one who isn't happy with someone."

"You don't know that," Rachael tried to defend herself.

"I'm just saying, Rach," He remarked, rising to his feet, "If you want to be happy, I think you should really consider moving to New York with me."

And so she did. And after sleeping on it for a night, she thought Yeah, moving would make me happier. But as the day they decided they would move inched closer and closer, she started realizing it wasn't making her happier. But Andrew refused to hear her out, saying she was just scared.

"I never liked him," I told her after partially-listening to her story.

"I know," She murmured, tilting her head down.

"Does he even know you're here?" She shook her head no, "How'd you leave the apartment without him knowing?"

"I sneaked out the window and used the fire escape," Rachael answered. I couldn't help but laugh, which in turn made her laugh too. Something I hadn't seen in a while.

"Like I said, Nat, I just wanted to get out of that place and talk to you," She added, "Because I'm not ready to leave this behind." She motioned between the two of us, "I'm not ready to leave any of this behind."

I smiled, "Well, like I said, when you decide to change your mind, I'd be there to support you. So...yeah. Here I am." I extended my arms out to the sides. Rachael grinned widely.

-Kalel's POV-

I walked into the office and sat down in front of the computer. I turned the monitor on and pulled up my email, specifically the one from the people at Fashion Week. I've been offered something like this before. And last time I was away from everyone, my life was completely ruined. But this is something I always wanted to do.

Just then, my cell phone began to go off. I looked over at it as it vibrated the whole desk. It was Joey calling me. I heaved a sigh and ignored the call.

I returned my attention to the computer. But my phone started vibrating again. I rolled my eyes and ignored it. Again. But of course, he called for a third time. I picked the phone up in frustration and answered, "What do you want, Joey?" I asked him angrily.

"I...I just want to talk to you," He answered, obviously a little upset from me yelling at him, "About your whole Milan thing."

I looked at the computer and sighed, "What about it?"

"I don't think you should go."

"Why?" I snapped at him, "I need a new start, and..."

"Last time you said that you moved far away from us and almost killed yourself, Kalel," He reminded me of the New York City incident. "What if something happens like last time? It won't be as easy to help you again if you're in a completely different continent."

I ran my fingers through my hair as I leaned back in the desk chair, "I won't need help this time."

"I don't believe you, Kalel," He retorted. I rolled my eyes. "Look, I know things are tough these days. But leaving all your problems behind isn't going to solve any of them."

I shook my head and hung up on him. I was done hearing his bullshit explanation of why I should stay here, in California. I heaved a sigh and highlighted the sender with the cursor. I right click, copied, and pasted the email address in a new email composition. Before writing the email, I typed in the subject line: Milan Fashion Week - I'm Coming.
