It's been a few days since the attack and I learned a few things from Shadow. First, he's a G.U.N. agent and was assigned to investigate the strange murders. I really don't like the idea of being considered a killer, if I had control over when I need to feed I wouldn't feed at all. Unfortunately, I have to feed or I'll kill the nearest person and feed off them. My only hope is to find that fruit so that I no longer need to take it from blood. The second thing I ended up learning is that Shadow is known as the Ultimate Lifeform, whatever that means. And finally, I learned the reason I didn't end up killing him. He has an ability known as chaos control, which means his blood is full of chaos energy. I only had a small taste and was brought back to my senses. The one thing that kinda bothers me is the fact his blood runs green. He wouldn't tell me when I asked him and I refuse to press further. "H-how are you doing today Shadow? Feeling any better?" "I'm feeling fine. I'll be leaving to search for that (C/T) once I've fully recovered." "I see... I hope you find them soon." Even though the (C/T) that you are looking for is right in front of you. "I'll be out for a bit I need to go to the library and do research for a project I'm working on. Will you be alright on your own?" He looks over at me and just nods. I grab my hoodie and head out. The 'project' that I'm working on is a cure for vampirism. There has to be one, right? I mean there's always one in the fairytales so there has to be a cure for me, right? Right?

*sometime later*

"UGH! THIS IS POINTLESS!" "SHHHHHH!" I looked over at the one who shushed me. A very angry librarian. "S-sorry..." "Please try to be more considerate of those around you. You're not the only one in this library." I've come to realize something, there is no cure for what I have. Real vampires don't exist, the only one that does is me. That means if only one exists and no one knows about it... Does it really exist? My head hurts too much thinking about it, I'm going home. My walk home usually has more thoughts floating about but I can't bring myself to think about living for eternity like this. Alone forever. The god of fate is most cruel to give me such a life. "Welcome home. How was the research?" "Not good, I hope you were doing well. How's your shoulder? Any pain?" "None so far. I might be able to leave tomorrow." "I see... I'm going to make something to eat." I make my way into the kitchen and get the ingredients to make soup. "Hey Shadow, I know this is a pretty random question but, what are your thoughts on vampires?" "Why vampires?" "Umm... Well, it's for my project I just wanted to know your thoughts." "Vampires don't exist, (Y/N). And if they did they'd be dead." "Why?" "Because I wouldn't let them live if they're killing innocent people." "O-Oh... I see..." I guess there goes the Idea of telling him I'm a vampire. A real vampire, not a mythical vampire who can be killed by sunlight and holy water, but a real one with a curse lasting forever and a thirst for chaos energy. "Why ask me such a question anyway?" "It was for the project I'm working on... basically I asked that question and got varying results." Good lie (Y/N)! Totally believable! "So I'm not the first to be asked this silly question." He believed it?! That lie was so bad! "Yeah, I was asking it to other people in the library. Oh here's your food I hope it's okay." He's just looking at it. "Is something wrong? Did I forget something?" "Why were you out that night you found me?" "Huh? Oh... Umm... Well, I like to go on nightly walks." More lies. I feel so bad. Once my wall of lies crumbles, he'll hate me. "I don't believe that."
