Now this place is much nicer. The only problem is no TV. Not that it's a bad thing. I'm now far away from anyone! .........It's lonely... I wouldn't feel so bad if I had someone to talk to besides the wall, maybe a Chao friend? No, I can't. I'd hurt them... I hate this curse. "Why me of all people!" "Because I thought it'd be fun. Don't you think?" "H-Huh?! Who are you?!" A mysterious boy in a cloak appears in front of me. "Are you surprised? Did I scare you? You're the most amusing (C/T) I've ever met!" "Who are you? How did you find me?" The boy laughs. "You mean you don't remember me? How cruel. I remember you quite well! A poor (C/T) wandering the mountains all alone, frozen to death. Remember anything?" "What are you?" He laughs again. "Would you like a hint? Enjoy eternity." My eyes widen in shock. The memory floods through my mind, the all too familiar voice of that boy. "Enjoy eternity, Miss (L/N)" The boy continues to laugh as I sit there dumbfounded. "So? Now, do you remember?" I can only nod. "That's good. Oh, I forgot to tell you something. The more time you spend away from chaos energy the more feral you'll become. You'll no longer be you. Keep that in mind, Little (C/T). Sayonara." He vanished laughing. Just who is he and why did he do this to me?

(Shadow's P.O.V.)

"Shadow! SHADOW!" "Rouge? What's wrong?" "It's about that girl. You asked me earlier to look for her in our database but..." "But?" She brings me to the computer and shows me the data. "(L/N), (Y/N). Species: (C/T). Found dead over a hundred years ago. It says here she froze to death in a terrible blizzard. After her death, there were some odd occurrences." "What kind of 'Odd occurrences'?" "Well, it says here in the night some people would see the ghost of (Y/N) (L/N). It also says that some people who came out at night were killed." "What's strange about that?" "They die from blood loss and are always found with strange bite marks. Sound familiar? It seems to me what happened over a hundred years ago and what's happening now might be connected." What's happening now is connected to what happened then? I can't believe what I'm hearing. "What did this (Y/N) (L/N) look like?" "Well, it says here she had (E/C) eyes and (H/L) (H/C) hair. Does it sound like the girl you met?" "That shouldn't be possible..." "Well Shadow, anything is possible. For all we know, the record made a mistake. It is pretty old." "I need some time alone. I need to think. Let me know if you find anything else." As soon as I enter my room I see it staring me in the face. The letter. It might have the answers I'm looking for. I carefully open the folded paper. 'Dear Shadow, I know you don't believe me and if I were in your shoes I wouldn't believe me either. I'm truly sorry if I upset you. I'm writing this because when you leave, I'm not going to be here. I'll be somewhere far away where I can't hurt anyone anymore. Please be well. Sincerely, (Y/n)' A strange laughter fills the room. I grab my gun and point it at the intruder. He laughs. "Oh my, my. Aren't you an interesting one? You know, even if you pull that trigger it won't kill me. But it's certainly funny to see you try!" The boy in the cloak pulls his hood back so I can see his face. He appears human with jet black hair. His eyes however have an unnatural golden color. His smile is unsettling. "Who are you?" "Hmm? It's been a long time, Shadow the Hedgehog! You don't remember me? I'm not surprised. I was hidden at the time of her death. Running, gunshots, a precious friend lost, a final goodbye, and a wish long forgotten. The years that follow, revenge and then fulfilled wish. It's been far too long and given the look on your face, you know exactly what I'm talking about. I've come to warn you. That girl who helped will be long lost if nothing is done." He laughs before continuing, "Although I wouldn't mind if she became so feral they called her a wild animal." "What are you going on about?" "The girl, the chaos vampire. She hasn't fed in a long while. If she doesn't feed she loses her senses. If she continues not to feed she will become lost. The girl she once was will become a feral beast." He continues his laughter as if he enjoys the idea of her becoming a monster. "And why tell me?" "Because Only your blood will bring her back at this rate. If you even care that is." He vanishes before my eyes laughing. He says one last thing as he disappears, "Look in Forest Hill."
