Ultimate Roommate

(Reader's P.O.V.)

It was agreed that Shadow live with me so he could keep a close watch on me. G.U.N. approved this decision and so Shadow officially became my roommate. I still feel like this is a bad idea... "Shadow I'm going to the library again." "More vampire research I assume? I'll go with you." This was the usual. Today was no exception. It's only been a week... The good news was I wasn't hurting or killing anyone anymore. Shadow kept me in check and when I needed to feed offered his arm. Yesterday I had to feed so today he has a bandage. "Are you sure it's okay?" "I've told you I'm fine." We make it to the library and I grab my usual books. The vampire fairytales and info on Angel Island. "Why Angel Island?" "My friend Axel told me about a fruit that only grows on Angel Island. It's called Chaos Fruit. It gives a burst of chaos energy to those who eat it. However, he told me it tastes bitter. If I found that fruit it would be the solution to my problem." "And why haven't you gone looking for it?" "I can't fly..." Shadow puts his hand to his chin as his arm rests on the table. He looks to be deep in thought. "I might know someone but that means I have to see him..." "Him? Who's him?" "Someone I dislike." I tilt my head in confusion. Who's he talking about?

*sometime later*

He dragged me onto a train for mystic ruin. Why are we going here? This is where Angel Island is. "Wait here." "Okay..." I just kinda stand by the train stop awkwardly.

(Tails' P.O.V.)

"Sonic do you think you could pass me that wrench? I need to tighten this bolt." The wrench is placed in my hand two seconds after I asked. I barely had any time to blink. "Thanks" I start tightening the bolt when I hear a knock. I wasn't expecting any visitors other than Sonic today. "Sonic could you-" "Already on it buddy." "Move over Faker, I need to speak to that twin-tailed friend of yours." It's Shadow? What's he doing here? "Long time no see Shadow! Aren't you going to at least say hi?" "Out of my way faker!" I decide it's probably best to stop them before they start fighting and break my new invention. "Hey Shadow what are you doing here?" "Looking for you." "Huh? Why me?" "I need your help with something." I let him inside before asking about it. "What do you mean you need my help? Is it something Sonic can't help with?" "Last I checked, Sonic doesn't fly a plane." "Huh? You need me to fly somewhere?" "There's a girl I want to help. She's looking for something on Angel Island. I'm asking you to take her." "Sure I can! Leave it to me! Umm... By the way where is she? She didn't come in with you." "She's waiting by the train stop." "Then let's bring her over here." Just as I said that I watched Sonic run out the door at super speed.

(Reader's P.O.V.)

I felt a swift wind pass me... And there it is again. "Umm... Are you perhaps Sonic?" He stops in front of me. "You've heard of me?" "You are pretty famous. Why are you running around like that?" "Well, I was looking for someone. You don't know Shadow do you?" "He's my roommate at the moment... Wait, Why?" He just grabbed my hand and suddenly started running. "AHH! HEY WAIT!"
