Chapter 11

Abigail's pov.
"Wait so what exactly did they say?" Mason asks me
"They said that my condition improves and that they're helping me" I said.
"Helping you by holding your neck and injecting something into you?" Liam said holding my waist obviously not happy they had done that, ever since I started to them them about what happened liam hasn't let go of me for a second.
"I don't know. Remember how I told you I couldn't remember a lot of things from summer. What if they've been doing this to me all summer?"
"Why don't we test out what you can do?" Mason said.
"What do you mean?" Liam asked
"Well what are the fairy powers you were born with?" Mason asked
"Elemental control" I said.
"Anything else?" Mason asked
"I can see auras." I said
"Ok, well I think you and liam need to go at into the woods and fight" Mason said
"What?" Liam asked
"You know get her riled up, see what she can do when she angry" Mason said
"I'm not ready for my ass to be lit on fire" Liam said causing me to burst out laughing.
"Calm down. For the purpose of this experiment, I don think you should use your elemental powers" Mason said
"Ok. I guess if that's ok with you liam?"
"The things I do for you" Liam said.

"Ouch, Mason did you seriously just hit me with a stick?" I asked he didn't respond he just hit me again.
"Mason stop it" I said. He just kept hitting me and hitting me over and over.... Until I push my hand out and Mason falls to the ground screaming. I quickly pull my hand back into my side.
"Omg Mason are you ok?" I ask
"Jesus, I think you just gave me an aneurism" Mason said.
"Well I've never done that before. I'm sorry Mason" I said.
"It's ok, let's see what else you can do" Mason said
"Your crazy" Liam said to Mason.

Malias Pov.
Stiles and I are with the Sheriff in his office updating the case board. The Sheriff crosses out Tracy's photo.
"Chimeras."
"Two dead chimeras," Stiles says.
"And eight new ones," I add.
"That's ten in all"
"11" sheriff said adding Donovan's photo to the wall. The Sheriff confirmed with his tech guys that the camera and the lock on the cell could have malfunctioned because of something electromagnetic, which the Doctors can manipulate because that's how they got into Eichen House.
"I wonder if he's a failure like Lucas and Tracy." Sheriff asks. I go to put a red cross on Donovan, but the Sheriff stops me.
"Not until I've seen a body." The sheriff said.

Third person
"My mom's book club usually has more wine." Lydia said as her stiles, malia, theo, kira and Scott all sit around and read the dread doctors book.
"Well, they also probably didn't read books that cause violent hallucinations," Stiles replies. They've asked Malia to watch over them while they read so there will be someone to stop them from running into traffic like she did.
"Where's Abigail? When I showed Lydia the book she looked at it funny. I think she should be here" malia said.
"She with liam" Lydia said.

Abigail's pov
"Forty-three dollars." Liam said pulling out the money he had earned to make it up to Hayden.
"I said I don't want your money." Hayden said
"You said I owe you 200."
"Liam, just forget it." Hayden said Just then the power shuts down in the club. Everyone cheers and shakes their glow sticks.
"Perfect" Hayden said walking out the back as Liam and I follow her.
"Hayden Hayden." Liam called walking after her
"I gotta be honest, Liam. If you're trying to be a good guy, I really don't care. Especially if you are just doing it to look good in front of Abigail." Hayden
"Don't bring me into your drama. I'm just here because my boyfriend won't let me leave his side." I said holding my hands up in defence.
"I'm just trying to make up for the sixth grade." Liam said to Hayden.Hayden throws one switch to get the power back on but has trouble with the second and Liam helps her.
"Nothing will make up for the sixth grade." Hayden
"Come on. You want to keep hating me? Go for it. You said I owe you 200. So, here's 43 more." Hayden finally takes the money, and Liam and I leave.

Liam's pov
"You were supposed to go wait in the parking lot." Hayden said to her sister
"And you're supposed to be embarrassed by your parents, not your sister. By the way, guess where I found this? In your jeans about to go into the laundry. Do I have to remind you, one bottle costs $200?" Deputy Clarke Hayden's sister asked.
"Sorry" Hayden said .
"What?" Hayden said seeing me looking at them as I walked passed.
"Nothing" I said
"Was that Liam Dunbar? He got cute." Deputy Clarke said causing me to smile.
"What you smiling about!" Abigail asked walking up to me
"Hayden's sister thinks I'm cute" I said.
"Should I be jealous?" Abigail asked
"No" I said smiling at her and wrapping my arm around her waist.

Abigails pov
"It's $25." Liam said trying to give Hayden more money
"Liam, please stop." Hayden said
"I promised I'd pay you back." Liam said
"It doesn't matter now. And Phil takes half of it anyway." Hayden said
"I know it's for your medication so please just take the money." Liam said
"No, it wasn't your fault." Hayden said
"I punched you in the face." Liam said
"I meant the shots." Hayden said
"You do realise he's not going to stop until he gives you all $200, right?" I said.
"Oh It's for mycophenolate. It's for a kidney transplant I had a few years ago. I work here so my sister doesn't have to pay for all of it. Now, can you just forget about it? I'll make it back somehow." Hayden said.
"So Phil takes half?" I asked
"Huh And never stops bragging about it. Just listen to him." Hayden said and I can tell by the way Liam zoned out he actually was listening to them. And if Phil was actually bragging Hayden shouldn't be able to hear him. Oh no.
"Hayden Can I ask you to do something else for me?" Liam asked
"What?" Hayden asked
"Close your eyes." Liam said
"Are you kidding?" Hayden asked
"Just two seconds. I swear I'm not gonna do anything. All you have to do is close your eyes for three seconds. Three at the most." Liam said
"Why?" Hayden asked
"Please hayden" I asked
"Fine for you not him" Hayden said closing her eyes. Liam grabs a glow stick and breaks it and holds it up next to her face.
"Open" I said. When she opens her eyes, they reflect the light.

Abigail's pov
"Hayden... Hayden, wait." Liam yelled chasing after her as she ran out of the club.
'Asking me to close my eyes was weird. Sticking a glow stick in my face, even weirder. But werewolves and dead doctors?" Hayden said
"Dread Doctors." I corrected
"Whatever. Get away from me." Hayden said
"What if I could prove it to you?" Liam said
"Liam that might to be the best idea."I said
"Prove what?" Hayden asked
"This." Liam said. He shifts and growls at her, and she punches him in the face. She gets in her car and drives away.
"Good job. Liam. You really showed her" I said
"She punched me" Liam said holding his face. I rolled my eyes and punched him in the shoulder, before walking in the direction Hayden drove
"Ouch" Liam said dramatically. Eventually we found her car and the glass smashed.
"What do we do?" Liam asked
"I don't know your the werewolf rip her roof of or something" I said. Liam rips the roof off her car and pulls her up and out, and we all run to safety.

Scott's pov
"Hayden? It's Scott. I know that you're scared, but we just... We want to help" I said to Hayden who had locked herself in my bathroom.
"I can hear her heart beating. She's really freaked out. What happened?" I asked liam.
"She was okay when we got here. I went to text you for two seconds and she locked herself in." Liam said.
"She's definitely a Chimera?" I asked
"She said she heard a voice saying, "Your condition improves." And she's not the only one Abigails been hearing them too, and they injected her with something, and she has some new powers she didn't have before" Liam said
"And you didn't think to tell us?" Stiles asked.
"I don't know she didn't want anyone to know" Liam said
"What new powers?" I asked
"Well she gave Mason an aneurism and she said sometimes she can hear other people's thought. And I saw her eyes flash purple when she was angry" Liam said
"Okay, that's unsettling. Hayden. This is Stiles. Your sister works for my dad down at the station. Look, just open the door, okay? You can trust us. We just need to tell you the truth, Hayden. And that kind of thing usually is better face-to-face. Listen, either you're gonna unlock the door or I'm gonna have to break it open. It's okay if you don't want to talk, or if you're not ready to believe us. But I just... I gotta know that you're okay in there." Stiles said.Hayden opens the door. When it swings open fully, her eyes are glowing, and she has fangs and claws.
"I believe you," she says.
