Liam's pov
"What do you mean, "No"?" I asked Scott
"Liam, look at her. She's too weak. It will kill her. We don't even know what the mercury's doing to her. We don't even know if it is actually mercury. This can't be the only way to save her life."
"It saved mine."
"You know, that was different. You were hanging off a ledge."
"You promised. You said you'd do everything you could."
"Which is why I'm not going to do something I think is going to kill her"
Scott said as Abigail started breathing even heavier and wheezing.
" Scott." Theo said.
"There's another way to save her." Scott said.
"Guys, I don't know what the statistics are for surviving a werewolf bite, but she's definitely not surviving this. We need to do something." Theo said. We do the only other thing we can. Take her to the hospital. Well th basement anyway where Melissa can treat her like they would a normal person.
"Okay. What's that?" I asked Melissa as she put Abigail on a drip.
"It's called chelation therapy. It removes heavy metals from the blood. But, the problem is, is that can injure the kidneys and Abigail only has one to begin with, so..." Melissa trailed off as Abigail groaned in pain.
"Hey, you're hurting her." I said grabbing Melissas arm
"And you're hurting me." Melissa said
"Sorry." I responded quickly removing my hand.
Scotts pov
"It's the full moon. We can feel it even during the day. And it's a Supermoon." I said
"What is that supposed to make you guys, like super strong? Super aggressive?" Mason asked.
"Both. " I said
"You know we're going to need help with him." Theo said.
"He'll be all right." I replied
"He's 16 and in love. First love. You remember what that's like?"
"Yeah, trust me, I remember."
"All those emotions mixed with the Supermoon. Tonight isn't going to be good."
"I know."
"We need help, and I don't mean restraints or chains. I mean Malia, Stiles, Lydia. You need your pack, Scott."
"I'm not so sure I have one anymore."
"Let me talk to them. Let me see what I can do. Okay?" Theo said causing me to nod.
"Theo. Thank you." I said before he fully walked away.

Liam's pov
"It's not working, is it?" I said looking from Abigail to Melissa
"She should be showing signs of improvement." Melissa said
"Abigail?" I asked
"Call ... My mum.... She works here. She's a nurse." Abigail said breathing heavily
"I think I know where she is. Theo just texted me about the high school. He said there's cops everywhere and nurses everywhere. He said he thinks he saw your mum. There Might be another Chimera." Scott said leaving the room.
"My mum...I don't want to die without my mum." Abigail said.
"I'll get her." I said

Masons pov
"What's happening?" I asked as the machine Abigail was plugged into went haywire.
"I'm not sure. But it's definitely not good." Melissa said.
"My mum" Abigail said.
"Scott's out looking for her right now. He's going to bring her here as soon as he can, all right?" Melissa said

Scotts pov
"That's not possible. You're right. A werewolf shouldn't even be able to touch mountain ash." I said as Theo finished the mountain ash line around the library
"I'm the first Chimera. It's the coyote part you don't notice. It's why Malia trusted me first, even though she probably didn't know it. You found the perfect word though, Scott. Because a Chimera isn't just a monster with different parts. It can also mean something impossible to achieve. An unrealizable dream." Theo said.
"And they realized you?"
"They came close with me. But we can't all be perfect. We can't all be true Alphas." Theo said leaving.

Masons pov
"Shouldn't we be talking to one of the doctors?" I asked
"I've been wrestling with that for hours. Do we bring them in and watch them treat her as a normal patient, while we stand here knowing that's not going to work? Or do we keep trying everything medically possible to save her, while her body does things that shouldn't be medically possible?"
"Is she dying?"
"With the amount of mercury in her body right now, she shouldn't even be alive."

Scotts pov
"Theo let you in." I said noticing Liam
"Did you lie to me?"
"I've never lied to you."
"But you won't save her."
"I can't save her. At least, not with a bite. If you'd just think about that for a second, Liam, you would know that I'm right"
"I am thinking! I'm thinking about alternatives."
"Liam, it's the Supermoon. It's feeding your anger. It's making you more aggressive."
" It's making me stronger! You're gonna keep your promise. Even if it kills you!" Liam said Roaring and beginning to fight with me.

Masons pov
"Oh, no, no, no, no... I think you better get Liam." Melissa said as Abigail heart monitor beeped wildly.
"What about Scott?" I asked hoping he'd be here and bite Abigail
"He's not answering. And if Liam wants to be with her, he needs to get here now. Because she's dying, and I don't know what else to do. Go. I will text you if anything changes. Just get him here, Mason. Go." Melissa said causing me to run to find Liam.
"Liam! Liam! Liam! Liam! Liam, what are you doing?" I asked finding him fighting Scott. Liam looked at me panting
"Abigail?" Liam asked
"She's gone. Abigail died a few minutes ago. She's gone." I said causing Liam to run back to the hospital.

Liam's pov
"Abigail?" I ask hoping she'll answer me, but she doesn't. I pull her off the table and hold her close to me.
"I'm sorry, I should have been here" I whispered kissing her forehead.

Third person
"I forgive you" Abigail said watching as Liam held her body close, before Parrish walked in to take her body to the nemeton.
