There was only silence as civilians and Genos stared in horror at your body meeting the cold, hard ground.
Your clothes burned right through by the acid and your skin...severe burns covered your back. The flesh practically eaten through by the corrosive liquid.
It was a horrifying sight, much more to the cyborg who watched your hands ball into fists and shake before completely going slack.
His sensors could no longer detect your heartbeat.
An anguished cry left his lips, anger and despair fueling him as he lunged at the Deep Sea King who'd been watching the proceedings with an amused smirk this whole time.
Genos didn't care anymore if he would die in this fight if it meant avenging you.
The only regret he would have is leaving Saitama alone and being unable to find the cyborg that killed his family.
