Three weeks later

Third Person's P.O.V.

She read his diary at home and even took it to work most often to read during her lunch hour. Sometimes, she read it on the bus. Little does she know the bus has cameras. Little does she know what's about to happen...

Dr. Sanchez's P.O.V.

Occasionally,  I would find Rachel with her nose dug deep in a leather brown book. My soul itched just to find out what was so interesting about that wretched book. She's been so distracted by it but it won't be a problem after I see for myself what the real juice is.

Coincidentally, Rachel was passing by my office when I called her. "Yes, Dr. Sanchez?" She asked popping her head into my office.

"I have work to do but I have files printing in the copy room. Do you mind fetching them for me when they're all done?" I asked sweetly.

"Of course." She smiled and headed off to the copy room. Her purse sat next to mine on the desk.

I quickly grabbed her purse, feeling around until my fingertips touched the leather brown book. I grasped it tightly and flipped through the pages. My eyes searched for any type of initial but, I couldn't find any.

I attempt to grab a sample of any fingertip that may be on the book. I swiped multiple q-tips around the book. Once I  take the sample, I put it in a zip lock bag. That otta do it.

"Thank goodness I had 1,000 papers printing." I smirked dropping the fingerprint sample in my lab coat pocket.

My feet rushed over to the laboratory running a few tests. The DNA scanner picked up not one but two fingerprints on the book. One being from Grayson Bailey Dolan, and the other being Rachel Marie Clementine.

I assumed it was the person named Grayson since his fingerprints were all over the book throughout. Meanwhile, Rachel's fingerprints stopped midway, meaning she had been reading it and hasn't gotten through the whole book.

I smiled mischievously and peeked my head into the copy room. "Almost done?" I asked innocently.

"No, there's actually a whole other stack coming. It might take a while.." She answered tapping her foot on the ground as she waited for the copies to print.

"Well, call me if you need anything." I pointed over at the phone indicating to call me before she comes into the room. She simply nodded.

I walked off to my room and locked the door. I grab the book once again and began reading from start to finish.  Once I'm finished, I place it back carefully into her purse. Rachel, arriving a few seconds shortly after with a cart full of copies.

Rachel's P.O.V.

I noticed 'G' had disappeared for quite a while. Weeks, as a matter of fact. A small part of me was worried and another part of me was anxious. I planned on talking to him and handing him his diary back. Based on what I've read, I truly feel for him. I definetly want to help him even more.

Gray's P.O.V.

Weeks and weeks I have been searching for my diary. It's pointless now. I know someone has it and I'll I can do is hope they don't say a word. My future is determined by who reads it. Let's just hope it was someone with good intentions.

"Guess I'll be going into hiding for now.." I sighed giving up on looking for my diary.

Rachel's P.O.V.

1 month later

I lost all hope that 'G' would show up on the bus again. I trudge up the steps of the bus, making my way to my seat. I laid my head against the glass of the window. Strangely enough, I noticed movement from the corner of my eye. Using my peripheral vision, I noticed a body in 'G's seat.

My head turn to find the devil himself. He had his head in his hands mumbling incoherent words. His hair was much  longer slightly messy and a stubble on his chin. As for his clothes, he had a simple black t-shirt with black jeans and some boots.

"Hey, I was wondering if you've seen my book?" He looked sleep deprived as he spoke. Wow, he actually spoke to me for the first time...

"Actually I have. I didn't know where I could reach you so, I've been waiting to give it to you." I said owning up to him as I searched my purse for his diary.

"Thank you." He responded after I handed it to him. "Did you read anything?" I caught a glimpse of worry in his eyes. I slowly nodded, lowering my gaze to the floor.

"Hear me out, I want to help you." I said sincerely.

"I don't need help. Besides, you're just a stranger. How can I trust you? You're probably just like the rest." He muttered skeptically.

"I don't want to force you to trust in me. But, I want to help you please. I'm specialized in forensic investigation besides psycology. I know what I'm doing. I've been dying to work on Ethan Dolan's case and I have a feeling you can help me." I explained hoping to change his mind.

"Thank you..." He trailed off since he didn't  know  my name.

"Rachel." I smiled.

"Rachel." He repeated with a small smile.

Okay so lie, this chapter wasn't too eventful but I'll be working my way up if you get what I'm saying.

Btw idk if I've mentioned it but the previous chapters were a little sneak peek into Grayson's life and thoughts.

So yeah hopefully this was decent enough to read lmao but anyways ilyy
