I had been anticipating all day at work when I would talk to 'G' once again. I eagerly hopped on the bus to find him in his usual seat. He patted the spot next to him for me to sit.

"I'm going to need as much information as I can from you. The more I know, the quicker the process will be. Do you mind spending the evening with me?" I spoke.

"Not at all. As long as the purpose is to find Ethan. I'm all in." He replied with a nod.

"Your place or mine?" I asked.

"Yours." He answered a little quickly.

"Sorry, I don't really have people over." He apologized scratching the back of his neck.

"It's fine, I understand. " I said standing up as soon as the bus neared my apartment. He followed me up the steps. I unlocked the door, kicking Val's shoes out if the way.

"I'm sorry it looks like a pigsty. My room mate can't seem to clean up after herself. " I mumbled embarrassed. He probably thinks I'm the pig that caused this mess.

I lead him to the living room, motioning for him to sit on the couch. "Would you like anything to drink or eat?" I offered. He shook his head.

I left the room to get my laptop which was in Val's bedroom. Ugh, I hate when she uses my stuff without permission. I seem like a clean freak and perfectionist but, she makes me appear like it.

I came back in the room, sitting next to him on the couch. I opened my laptop to be met with a porn website. My laptop went crazy as the moans were the only thing that could be heard in the apartment making my cheeks flush in embarrassment.

He only stared at me amused. "I promise you that wasn't me." I spoke breathless after I managed to silence my laptop.

"Are you sure?" He cocked an eyebrow up with a hint of a smirk.

"It was my room mate. I promise. " I said shaking my head. He lightly chuckled to my facial expression. This was the most I have interacted with him and his voice in general was like music to my ears.

"Moving on, I will need for you to tell me as much as you possibly can." I grabbed my notepad and pen. I crossed my legs facing him, to give my full attention to what he was about to say.

I typed in 'Ethan Grant Dolan' into the search bar. A bunch of websites appeared loaded with information. I opened a few tabs for later research.

"What would you like me to tell you?" He asked fumbling with his fingers.

"Your relation to him, what he was like, just everything." I gave him a general idea of the information I was looking for.

"Well to start off, Ethan is my brother. Twins actually.." He started off, biting his lip afterwards.

"No way.. So you are one of the Dolan's?" I said completely surprised.

"Yup. I'm Bailey by the way." He introduced leaving me confused. How come his initial was a 'G'?

"In your book, your initial was a 'G'.." I spoke.

"Ah, you caught me. Yeah, stands for Grayson. It's my first name, I usually don't let anyone know my name." He explained.

"How was Ethan like?" I asked.

"He was the best brother I could ever ask for. He was the life of the party. He always seemed to be happy.  He was amazing at football and even had a scholarship to pursue the sport in college." He spoke as pain laced a few of the words.

"Can you break down for me everything that happened the day he went missing?" I asked clicking the pen against my bottom lip.

"It was December 16th, 2016. Our birthday actually. We were in our house, celebrating. However, we started smelling gasoline. We didn't know where it was coming from. All of a sudden, a fire ignited the whole house.  I looked for Ethan but he was nowhere to be found. He had vanished from the scene. My parents and my sister were all calling for me. They were too deep inside the house whereas I was closer to the door since I went looking for Ethan." He closed his eyes, taking a deep breath.

"I told them I would go in to save them. But it was to late, a piece of wood from the ceiling fell, blocking me from getting to the other side. So, I ran. I ran out of the house before it could get to me. I watched the flames uprise their body as the house collapsed on top of them. I didn't know what to do so, I ran far away until I had a family help me get on my feet." He finished off staring to the floor.

I noticed a tear fell onto the floor. My eyes were about to spill with tears but, I knew I had to hold it in. I scooted closer to him, I placed my hand on top of his in attempt of comfort.

His breath was unsteady as he the tears ran down his cheeks. I lifted his chin up to face me. I got closer and pulled him onto me. I placed his face into my shoulder. He inhaled sharply, hesitating before sobbing into me quietly.

"Shh, it's okay. It's okay to cry, Grayson. Let it out. They're doing fine. Ethan is okay. I believe he is out there." I coo'ed as I rubbed his back comfortingly.

"They didn't deserve it. I should've saved them." He sobbed.

"We'll get the justice they deserve. Don't worry. I'll be by your side until we get our justice." I whispered.

His cries died down as he released from my embrace. "Thank you. I didn't realize I needed that." His eyes were soft and puffy.

"No problem, Gray. But, I think we're done for today. You should get some rest. We can continue tomorrow if you want." I answered kindly.

"Okay, but can I get another hug....it felt nice.." He asked shyly.

I opened my arms wide as his towering figure engulfed me into a bear hug. "Goodnight, Gray." I said as he released.

"Goodnight, Rachel." He said exiting my apartment.

This chapter was cute at the ending. Gray makes me soft😭😭
