"so how did your date with jooheon go?" min ji asked.
"it was so nice, we had a good time together."
"did he kiss you?" her curiosity grew and i had no choice but to feed into that for her.
"..yes." i said with a bright smile.
min ji became giddy, "aww!! i'm so happy for you."
"we went to the coffee shop but that's no surprise."
"did he get you a coffee?"
"he wanted to but i told him i didn't want one."
"you know you go to a coffee shop to get coffee, right?"
"you know you go to a coffee shop to get coffee, right?" i mocked back.
"sooner or later he's gonna find out you don't like coffee."
i threw my hands up in defense, "it's not like i did something horrible and didn't tell him. i just don't like coffee."
"does he work today?"
"i think so."
"are you gonna see him?"
"probably. why, you wanna come? "
"no, i was just wondering."
after the two spent their time together, soo young went to go visit jooheon.
she walked in and went over to the register.
"hello, my name is jooheon what can i-oh! hi soo young!"
"hi!!"
jooheon looked around and then leaned over and gave soo young a kiss, "can i get you anything? you want a coffee?"
"no, no i'm okay. thank you, i just wanted to cone by and visit. are you going on break soon?"
"yeah in like ten minutes."
"okay! maybe we can go to lunch somewhere."
"alright."
once jooheon was done, he took his apron off and came over to me with something in his hands. he sat down and had a coffee in his hands with my name on it.
"oh, jooheon, you didn't have to-"
"i wanted to. here, take it." he said, handing me a coffee.
"wait...can i take a picture of you?"
he was surprised but by the show of his dimples apprearing, i could tell he was flattered to, "sure."
i took the drink and kept it in my hands until i looked at jooheon who was waiting for me to take a sip.
i took a sip and tried not to make a face. thinking i succeeded, we both got up and walked out of the cafe together when jooheon said, "it's funny how you think i never noticed."
"notice what?"
"i see you throw your drinks out. you think i don't see but i do."
"i throw it out because i finish it."
"but i never see you take a sip." he half smirked. he knew he was catching me in the act.
"you watch me?"
he dodged my question by asking a more important one "why do you throw it out?"
i open my mouth when he stopped in his tracks and blurted, "do you just not like americano, i only suggested it 'cause it's my favorite was all-"
"i don't like coffee." i blurted underneath my breath
"what?"
"i don't like coffee." i admitted.
